What a gem this place is! We were passing by while on holiday and stopped in. It was raining and chilly… the little restaurant was warm and Casserole the dog came to greet us as we entered. The menu was not big but there was a great choice for gluten free for a coeliac like me. We shared the chicken katsu and then had the lamb with roast veges. It was all cooked to perfection … the lamb tender and juicy. It was a quiet cold night and it was like having a personal chef for the time we were there. We finished panecotta and peach-cots. Utterly delicious. Some of the best restaurant food we have had. Highly recommend you stop here to enjoy those excellent fare.

Excellent experience here. Great setting under cover but warm n sunny. Uncluttered menu; choices for everyone including gluten free. They understand Celiac and catered for my needs . They catered for the mokopuna too making them an icecream sundae 🍨 Local wines & beers available; non alcoholic too. Will be back
