Arlo Grey by Kristen Kish

I went to Arlo Grey while I was in Austin on a work trip. We stayed at The Line where the restaurant is located. The food, the accommodations for dietary restrictions, the drinks and staff were all top-tier. Our waiter, Brandon, was fantastic. We appreciated that we had a waiter who thoughtfully recommended items that vegans and gluten-free guests could enjoy with the group. And there's a lazy Susan in the middle of some of the tables. The precision and care that our food was laid out and spinned to the correct person 10/10 times. It was clear the chef and owners put a lot of thought into the concept but also into their team on the front side of the house. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Austin. Cheers, Bran! My sister and I went here for a fancy girls night and WOW. Hard to describe this culinary experience but I will try- essentially the dishes were so good, and flavor profiles so interesting/enjoyable that we hardly spoke. Our attention was front and center (for the entire two hours) on these amazing dishes. Also- my sister is dairy and gluten free and the staff was so accommodating and somehow the food was still out of this world despite the modifications. Cannot recommend this restaurant (and the crispy rice dish) highly enough.
