100% gluten free Mexican food in the heart of Austin! The food was delicious, and I legit wanted to eat the whole menu if I had an endless budget. You can’t go wrong with any item.
Grabbed lunch with our family and a friend. Our server was super accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy and our active toddler. We’ve had date nights and lunch at Neighborhood Sushi and the food/service are 5 stars every time.
Jack Allen's is legit one of the best places in Austin. We've been a fan for years, and they've even catered our wedding back in 2011 when they used to do that.
Jack's menu has stood the test of time. Their specials are fantastic, and when they found out the margaritas has gluten in them (my wife is allergic) they even changed their recipe for it.
Hands down great value. You can seat 2 adults, two kids, appetizers, drinks, and dessert for far more reasonable prices than "trendy" places who either charge more or dont have nearly as good food.
If you don't like Jack's, your standards are wrong and I suggest you just move back to LA where at least you can feel important about it.
Overall, the atmosphere is fairly nice with very kind and friendly wait staff. True Food Kitchen has a well rounded menu with accommodates for vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan with clearly labled dishes for such. Additionally, the flavor profile is fairly diverse so if you are vegan like me, you will not be restricted to a single option and have a few choices to make.
A good spot for gluten free brunch! You can get any of the pancakes in gluten free or get the pancake flight like I did if you want to sample multiple flavors! I think there is a gluten free French toast as well. Definitely join the waitlist before you leave the house if it’s a weekend!
What a great place! I was astonished by how great the food is here, especially the gluten free options. I haven’t had fried chicken in years and I devoured it in seconds. It was absolutely spectacular. Our waitress was incredible as well.

Ate here for dinner with a friend tonight, absolutely delicious meal! Very impressed with their menu, everything we ordered was good! Plenty of gluten free items marked on their menu which made it very convenient for me to order. Only downside is the price - pretty expensive, so definitely an every once in a while or special occasion type of restaurant. Also skip the drinks, while they were good, they were pricey ($15-20), so save your money for the food!!
Every dish we ordered was delicious. Alejandro provided very friendly and helpful service. His recommendations did not disappoint. We ordered the gluten-free cinnamon roll pancakes, absolutely delicious! Gluten-free eggs Benedict were a real treat and the hashbrowns were super flavorful without being too salty. I was super impressed with the very reasonable amount of time it took for our food to make it to the table. This was a much better experience than previous visits and wait time. Perfect Mother’s Day brunch.
We went for happy hour and they’ve got a great selection. I’m gluten-free and they were well-versed on what precautions to take and able to answer any questions I had about modifications.
We absolutely love RedFarm! The food is consistently delicious, with plenty of options for everyone—gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian included. My personal favorite? The gluten-free lobster dumplings—oh my god, they are incredible.
Robert was our server (as he often is), and he always takes excellent care of us. He’s knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly thoughtful when it comes to food allergies and dietary needs. Jen, the manager, is also a standout. She’s been there for years, always greets us with a smile, and it’s clear she cares deeply about both the staff and the overall operation. The restaurant is clean, well-run, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I parked in the wrong spot and ended up eating at LSP. Best mistake I ever made. Broccoli and sauce were worth the trip alone. I don't eat pizza but decided to try their gluten-free vegetarian pizza. Hold up!! I just had the best pizza I've ever tasted. Hard crisp crust and loaded with veggies that had a meeting and decided to make history.
This is a new brunch must for my husband and I! I recently became gluten free and had the BEST GF pancakes I’ve had yet. They also can make almost any menu item GF. My mother in law is also Vegan and said her pancakes were also incredible.
The service was great. The vibe was awesome. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well.
Do yourself a favor and GET THE BACON 😋
This is the place where both my wife and I think about going for a great seafood dinner. Also, my wife is gluten in intolerance, but she can get her crab cakes, which is hard to find gluten-free. They take great care of her, and she truly enjoys her meals there.
Gotta be my new favorite place to bring outta towners, speaking as a long time local.
Set in this crazy wild lush old mansion with vibes of a seance but like also dark sexy disco but like luxe too, hard to describe. Think velvet and brass and 1920’s sketched art.
Everything was amazing, steak great, salad great.
Gotta be the only place in town with gluten free Korean style fried chicken but like elevated, fancy place worthy and with a crunch that makes a case for all fried chicken to be gluten free.
Guarantee I’m not gonna explain it well, but the cabbage dish in particular makes the case for cabbage being everywhere the way Brussels sprouts are now.
Also huge portions for what I’m used to on my east side, and everything was just so filling and the place hospitable. Jace our waiter in particular made the night extra special for me and my date.
Also I want ya to be surprised so I won’t spoil it, but check out the curtain holders, also the bathrooms are crazy cool too
Do not sleep on this place! Excellent food, friendly staff, great environment, incredible prices. Amazing hidden gem! Gluten free burger on plantains with pineapple??? Yes please. Don’t miss the empanadas either. 10/10
Latte fine, chai tea latte good, smoothie just ok, Mr. Natural gluten free donuts good (and two of us have celiac disease, so gluten free is key), pretzel fine, vibe good but no one much around Saturday at 1:00 pm.
Enjoyed an evening out at the Domain. My son recommended eating at the Culinary Dropout. We were seated right away. After looking at the menu I wasn't sure if they offered allergen free items, but found out quickly from the waiter that the Chef made various Gluten free dinners at request. I ordered the fresh fish. The dinner was delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Everyone else at the table reported there food was delicious as well.
There was a brief time of coming here that it seemed to be going downhill, at least in my experience, but it seems to be improving. It was never really bad for a bit there I had some times of not-as-great service, the food was not as great as it had before. Plus certain things, like the seats, started to look busted.
Granted, most of that was likely part of recovering from the Covid shutdown and aftermath. As well as the change in ownership.
Lately when I've visited, the food quality and options have been great. They still have a good amount of options for Gluten Free/friendly needs. And they have Coke Zero now...yessss!
The service has also been great- the servers are usually very helpful and friendly.
On there website it mentions undergoing remodeling- so hopefully that means getting new seats because a lot of them are busted...and by that I mean the fabric on many of the seats are really worn out. The color has worn off and you can see holes in the fabric and threads underneath and it just overall looks like you want to spray a bottle of disinfectant on it.
I still highly enjoy coming here, though. Hopefully it continues to be a fun place to go!
An INSTANT go to -- great price to quality ratio, amazing taste, broad menu, and extensive gluten free options. Food and service were both quick and excellent. Easiest 5 star in awhile.

I went for a friend's birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff is excellent and I was really happy that they had gluten-free buns. I got a chicken sandwich with small fries and both were delicious. The inside is kind of small but we somehow didn't have issues getting tables for our large party (over 15 people)
I went to Arlo Grey while I was in Austin on a work trip. We stayed at The Line where the restaurant is located. The food, the accommodations for dietary restrictions, the drinks and staff were all top-tier. Our waiter, Brandon, was fantastic. We appreciated that we had a waiter who thoughtfully recommended items that vegans and gluten-free guests could enjoy with the group. And there's a lazy Susan in the middle of some of the tables. The precision and care that our food was laid out and spinned to the correct person 10/10 times. It was clear the chef and owners put a lot of thought into the concept but also into their team on the front side of the house.
I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Austin. Cheers, Bran! You rock!
Great food, great service. Mike was awesome. Get the queso - add the short ribs.
Solid knowledge/options for gluten allergies and celiac - queso flameado, carnitas tacos and chocolate tart dessert were all gluten free and delicious!

I was extremely skeptical going to a sushi restaurant coming from the PNW, but alas, I was CRAVING white rice after feeling like a bottomless abyss from my wild birthday celebrations and way too much BBQ and y’all — this place EXCEEDED any exceptions I had and more. The service was absolutely off the charts phenomenal. The hostess that seated us was pleasant. Our server was incredible, helpful, asked about allergies, got me a separate gluten free menu that labeled vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options, she refilled our water without asking, and split our check without making a request (it was me and my best friend)! We sat at the bar where they made the food in front of us and they had the nicest cook/employees that were catering to us too (and also very attractive to look at lol). I was shocked, SHOCKED y’all at how fresh and tasty the cucumber roll I got was and how heavenly the rice tasted. Even my non-gluten free friend was amazed and loved her Ube desert! I will literally come back to Austin just to come back here. I am still drooling over and dreaming of the freshness of the ingredients and how scrumptious it was; and the service absolutely topped it off to make this an exceptional experience. My only regret is not taking photos to share, but this review will have to do to make sure others try out this gem! Thank you!
Do not pass up a visit to this place!! We had the most delicious crepes brunch here. My (gluten free) boyfriend had the gf turkey pesto savory crepe, and I the croque madame crepe and they were both perfection!! Tons of flavor and high quality, fresh ingredients. I also had their delicious peach tea and my boyfriend enjoyed his americano. This is definitely a gem of Austin (the kind chef, original art deco lobby, outdoor seating availability and the fact they also serve cocktails was a bonus!).
We love Emmer & Rye and Canje, so were very excited to try Ezov. The food was great and the service was very friendly and efficient. As an added bonus- I’m celiac and the menu was very gluten free friendly. There were only a handful of things that were off limits/needed to be modified.
AKB bar at Archer Hotel was a great location to host our SafeHorns meet and greet happy hour (AKB calls it Sunset Hour)! Not many restaurants or bars have happy hours on Saturdays but AKB does! Plus they let me reserve some bar tables. It’s a beautiful lobby and restaurant. AKB has lots of drink specials and good assortment of appetizers. We tried the pepperoni pizza, brussel sprouts (with pork belly) and guacamole & chips, all of which were tasty. I’m glad they have gluten free & vegetarian options on the happy hour menu. Free parking in the Nordstrom garage which is just a five minute walk away or valet parking at Archer (I think valet is around $16).
The is the best I've had in years! Lamb biryani at spicy hot was so rich and satisfying. Prices are excellent for the portions and everything was delicious. Even the temperature of the food was perfect. Menu clearly showed items that contained gluten, which I needed. The staff was friendly and perfectly attentive. I will be back the next time I am in Austin.
