I’ve been to this location multiple times and had above and beyond service every time, except for tonight 3/4/24. I went in and the hostess was preoccupied talking with another worker, then turned around and asked us “Is that okay with you?”, to which I was completely bewildered. I then had to insist on being seated at an actual table rather than the bar, which elicited an eye roll. After finally being seated, the waiter was pushy about getting our order immediately, then didn’t bother coming over to check if we were ready for about 15 minutes. When he finally came over to take our order, he was again trying to hurry us through our order and left away. After 20 minutes of waiting for our food, the server came back and informed us that that they were actually out of their Gluten-Free crust, and asked if I wanted a different type. Naturally upset over having my time wasted, I told him I would rather just leave since he had wasted so much of my time and there weren’t other options available, and when he asked if we wanted to keep my partner’s order, we of course told him no. He came by a few minutes later with the check with nothing but my order taken off, my partner’s food still on there, and he slapped it down on the table as he passed and huffed as he walked by. At this point, I got up and went straight to another employee and explained the situation, to which they were extremely apologetic, but still took them another 10 minutes to get me the correct receipt. I have had poor customer experiences before, but this one truly enraged me. As a manager in the food service industry, if one of my employees ever treated a customer interaction this way, they would be written up without question. Do better.
