Baci Pizzeria Ristorante

I went into Baci's at about 12 o clock, on a Wednesday. I'm guessing they hadn't been open for long. There was only a few customers, and only about 3 employees. We sat ourselves, and soon had menus. Me and my sister are gluten free, so we ordered a gluten free pizza crust. (I added a few things to mine, and the man waiting on us didn't seem to mind). The food took about 25-35 minutes. A bit long for a pizza, but I figured that if you're adding stuff to it, and making it gluten free, it may take longer. We ordered a cesar salad, and I wasn't terribly impressed. I think the dressing had too much lemon juice. When the pizza came out, it was worth waiting for. It wasn't stodgy or extremely small, like gluten free pizzas usually are. I saved my mine leftovers, and ate it later. A little pricier than I thought, but inflation and all that, I'm not going to give them a hard time.

If you have food allergies stay away from Baci at all costs. Earlier tonight I went with my fiancée and asked specifically what was gluten free. The waitress said the gluten free pizza so we ordered two gluten free pizzas. The one was a fresco (I think) and the other was a chicken, bacon, and BBQ. The first pizza was excellent. About half way in, my fiancée noticed that the chicken was actually breaded on the pizza. For someone with a food allergy like myself this is serious. I avoid gluten at all costs... it isn't a preference for me. I'm in horrific pain tonight all because the waitress didn't make sure to have the pizza made with grilled chicken. I would NOT recommend going here and we won't be back again. Baci, PLEASE inform your staff to ask if someone has an allergy or if they are gluten free by preference.
