I bring my son to the Back 40 2-3 times a week. He has Down syndrome, epilepsy, and celiac disease. He’s 20 years old and nonverbal and is very vocal. He is always happy and at times can be loud. It has been hard to find a restaurant that makes us feel instantly welcome like they did our visit. The staff will always come over and see what Jack is playing on his iPad.or to drop off cherries. To call out one particular staff member is impossible ans they are all amazing. When I had surgery I set it up so the kids and staff could go for lunch. It was lightly chaotic but they had a great time.
Lastly, the food and drinks are amazing and they always are very cautious with his gluten allergy. I can’t say enough about the Back 40.
