I am sadly forced to be Gluten free and the thing I miss most is a GF bagel. This place has the YUMMIEST. But I can absolutely never get one. No matter the time of day. I can go early and they are sold out. :( it’s so sad. The employee told me they only make about 6 a day. I wish they would make more. They would have all my money if they did.

I was really disappointed by my experience here. I placed an order online for a simple breakfast sandwich with the gluten free bagel. I arrived 20-25 minutes after I placed the order. (The order said it was confirmed by the restaurant before I left). When I told the girls at the counter my name for the order, they proceeded to tell me that they could not make the order as they were out of the gluten free bagels. I was totally fine with that as I understand places may have supply issues with less popular items. They offered to make the sandwich into a breakfast bowl without the bagel. I requested a refund as I did not want anything else on the menu. They then told me that they could not give me a refund. They offered to make me a coffee, instead, despite the fact that there was no way I was paying eleven dollars for a coffee. They offered to fill out a punch card for me to return in the future. I explained to them that I did not live in Fairbanks and could not return and that I just wanted a refund. They went back and got who I assume was the manager, a horrible person to experience. She started flitting over the order terminal, TELLING me that she would refund the amount to the ordering platform so that I could use the credit in their establishment in the future. I again explained that I did not live in Fairbanks and would not be returning. Then all of a sudden, she had gluten free bagels, she just needed to unfreeze them? At that point I told her I just wanted a refund as the whole experience up to that point was just awful. She did not even give me an option, told me they couldn't refund me and said it would take them three minutes to make the sandwich with the gluten free bagels and she proceeded to walk away. So, if it was only ever going to take them three minutes to make it, why not make it during the time between when I placed the order and when I arrived? Defeated, I just waited for the sandwich as I was not given any other option. A different girl slapped it on the counter and walked away. No apology, no "have a nice day" no "here", nothing. So I just grabbed it and left... I never once raised my voice or gave them any sort of attitude. I tried to be as understanding as possible while simply requesting a refund. I was astonished at the way I was treated. Can't believe I was looking forward to eating here during my one day in Fairbanks.
