We had the most incredible dining experience at BALAM in Whistler. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was prepared to perfection and arrived remarkably quickly, which we appreciated after a long, relaxing (and tiring!) day at the spa. The service was exceptional, especially from John behind the bar, who was attentive, professional, and truly elevated the evening. The management team was also extremely on point, checking in throughout the meal to ensure everything was perfect. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and the staff handled it with absolute care. They confirmed every dish, reassured us at each step, and made sure everything served was completely gluten-free. The level of attention was impressive and genuinely appreciated. BALAM exceeded every expectation — incredible food, outstanding service, and a team that truly cares about the guest experience. We would recommend this restaurant to absolutely anyone visiting Whistler.

Excellent experience. Loved the decor, the fabulous menu with choices for everyone: vegetarian and gluten free options. The appetizers were outstanding, and the atmosphere added to our wonderful experience. Our server was passionate and knowledgeable, and the restaurant had great wine suggestions. Our group enjoyed their food, but if I'm to be honest,I thought my chicken dish was too tough. Other than that, we all agree we'd return in a heartbeat because this was such a fantastic and fun dining experience. Oh, and the value was incredible!
