I had lunch at the downtown location just before Restaurant Week. The counter servers are pleasant. The menu is interesting though kind of pricey. I was excited about the corn and zucchini fritters being gluten-free, but they were disappointing. They were not hot when they arrived and the texture was gummy, like they had been reheated and not effectively. They were topped with a hard fried egg that was really unattractive (it looked like it was stomped on). The avocado and grilled (?) tomatoes didn't add much. The only thing that saved the dish was some delicious crispy bacon. I got a chai latte that tested like slightly spiced milk (not their forte, clearly, I should've had coffee). There are many glowing reviews of this place, but apparently, it is inconsistent, because my experience was not great. There are many other local establishments offering gluten-free options, I'll be trying some of them in the future rather than returning here.
