4 of us were directed here by a nearby winery for a midweek lunch. We all have healthy appetites and include a gluten free and pescatarian. Our excellent experience commenced just inside the front door with a very warm welcome from the owner. Our waitress for the day could not have been more engaging, informative or professional. She helped us make good choices a la carte to share, with all dishes perfectly ordered and timed! The food was absolutely incredible. Not a weak dish amongst the 8 we ordered. Many surprises with standouts involving mushrooms and even cauliflower! As can be seen with my review history I don’t post often but was keen in this instance because this restaurant topped our list of extremely good dining experiences over a 5 day trip through Wānaka/Queenstown and surrounds. This will be first on my list to return to. What a cracking place. Well done Bannockburn Hotel Team👏👏👏
