Barn Owl is a Lopez Island treasure. Everything they make is made with care and expertise and shepherded from the grain growing on Lopez Island fields to tasty goods baked in a wood-fired oven. Barn Owl sources local veggies and fruits and not only do they contribute to the local economy but they supported the community by staying safely open during the COVID lockdown. They have an impeccable commitment to great food, community and sustainability. I love their bagels, country bread, gluten free bread, apricot bread, rye bread and croissants but really, anything they turn out is top of the line, delicious and worth every penny!
