I have been celiac since I can remember, and my daughter is gluten intolerant and both are lactose intolerant! Finding this restaurant was a breath of fresh air, it was literally a blessing! Only celiacs understand what it is like to smell the food and eat it with their eyes and nose, but not be able to truly taste it. And at Batarda's we can do just that! In addition to observing and smelling each "delicacy", we can also taste it!
