Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at Beautiful Day. We were one of only two occupied tables when we ordered, but our meals took almost 30 minutes to come out. When they were brought to our table, three meals were cold and only one was warm. We told informed the server that they were cold, but we had somewhere else to be, and since we had already waited a long time for our meals we couldn’t wait for everything to be prepared again. A lady, who I’m assuming is the owner informed us that the cook had prepared the gluten free meals first, then they sat while she prepared the other meal.
Things went downhill when I found a long black hair in my burrito bowl. My daughter started getting ill after seeing it and had to leave the restaurant. We showed the server, and while he was very apologetic, the owner seemed unbothered. After admitting our food was cold because it sat, and finding a hair, we were still charged for everything but the meal with the hair. None of us were able to finish our meals after finding the hair, and my daughter’s was almost untouched.
It was very disappointing to see how this business handled the situation. Still having to pay $100 for cold breakfasts with a hair is unacceptable.
