The best was the non-alcoholic Augustiner...
.had made a reservation yesterday (March 11th) because the restaurant was advertised as having gluten-free dishes. From the approximately 3 1/2 page menu, four simple (in numbers 4) pasta dishes made it into the gluten-free category.
Thank God they weren't so "economical" when it came to the price, as a simple pasta dish costs just 15.90. € called...
There's no gluten-free pizza...why isn't there one on offer? The waiter also didn't give us this answer.
Then we wanted a gluten-free pasta with a different sauce (carbonara). The waiter first had to ask if it was possible, the manager, who came to our table a short time later, said it wasn't possible...
Why...,? He couldn't really explain that either...I've been in the catering industry for over 40 years and I'm not the only one who knows that there's no flour in a carbonara...
You can only afford such arrogance if you don't need regular customers, but are located on Marienplatz or Viktualienmarkt and are visited by tourists.
Please, please visit other restaurants "Bernie's Nudelbrett" doesn't deserve it!!
As you can see from the reviews, positive reviews are addressed directly, negative experiences get a standard answer "blah blah we are working on ourselves blah blah"
That means I don't need an answer to my complaint because we, and I hope not only we, will avoid the restaurant...
