Big Lake Brewing

Good amount of beers to choose from, only one cider was available in July. They don’t have any beers that they don’t brew. Champagne of the North is good. Food is also good, we liked the loaded tots and the burgers have great fire flavor too. They have gluten free burger buns and gluten free pizza crust. No gluten free guest beer, just one cider on tap. Service was sub par for our party, I saw other tables get much smoother service so I don’t know if we were unlucky or what. The server left us a paper slip for the beer flight selection and didn’t come back for a whooping 20 minutes. We got rushed to order food, then we didn’t get checked on for 30 minutes, we ate half our food with no drinks to go with, we never got any water served until I asked for some after finishing eating. Half of our experience was trying to get our server’s attention, the other half was being DRY in a tap room. 🤷‍♀️

Limited choices, staff were not too familiar with gluten allergy/Celiac safe options but was confirmed that I would be safe to order the caprese salad and smashed redskins. Caprese was good.

The staff were wonderful and I love the atmosphere. Even though I do not drink I liked seeing the variety of drinks on offer. I liked the industrial vibe. The lighting was great and I like the openness and wood. We had a gluten free pizza and the crust was not that great. The loaded tater tots were quite nice though.
