Was excited to try the Chicago Deep Dish Gluten Free. Toppings were wonderful. The crust however was so hard, I struggled cutting pieces and eating it. Also had the White Pizza Regular Crust Gluten Free. The crust was to gummy for my taste. Sadly, will not be eating here again.
This place has good reviews and the people of Holland recommend it! Maybe I just didn’t order the right thing . We had reservations and were seated quickly , wait staff was friendly . Ample selection of wines and cocktails. I ordered the pretzel crusted chicken sandwhich and I’ll be honest , could not taste the pretzels and it was over cooked and slightly burned. There was a sriracha aioli that didn’t really do it any favors and semi crisp bacon . I will say however the chips and onion dip were fantabulous! Lots of really delicious looking things on the menu and gluten free options .
The food was good. Carne asada tacos had chewy meat. Their salsa is not tomato based, and you have to buy the chips. We got them with guacamole. The guacamole had big chunks of avocado which i like avocado so it didn't bother me. The bill for 3 people was $53 which wasn't bad. It was super busy because it was their second anniversary. Lots of gluten free options so we stayed to eat here.
My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town for the weekend and decided to try this place out. Both of us really enjoyed our experiences the two times we came in. What genuinely makes this place 5-star worthy is the fact that there’s MULTIPLE gluten-and-dairy-free bakery items. I visit lots of coffee shops and keep seeing that there’s (typically) either a gf item, or a vegan item. Never both. The fact that Lemonjello’s had not one or two, but five different bakery items for me to choose from that were freshly made— not the pre-packaged, overpriced options you see at other places— that won me over. I understand it’s hard to accommodate my two dietary restrictions simultaneously, but Lemonjello 100% executed, and it’s something I appreciate greatly. I tried the gf/df apple almond muffin and chocolate chip cookie one time and the gf/df berry muffin the next, all of which I’d get again. My boyfriend and I also enjoyed our lattes— as baristas, we were impressed with the staff’s skilled latte art, especially considering I got mine with oat milk. The atmosphere was totally fine. I could personally just go without the music playing as it seemed a little all over the place, and the tables are fairly close together, but it’s evident they’re trying to utilize the space they have and provide as much indoor seating as possible for customers. I’m looking forward to coming back to this coffee shop as it’s very accommodating and overall very pleasant.
Our car enthusiast group had an ideal dedicated room for dinner dining. We enjoyed the spacious windows overlooking the lake, very fun seaside décor with a fireplace and excellent service. Upon entering our room, a beverage table with lemon tea, coffee and other offerings was prepared just for us. A group of polite hostesses greeted each one of us. was all spectacularly awesome! Kind and attentive bartenders were all amazing. I recommend the Bruschetta appetizer, and Steak & Shrimp for a main entree! All were wonderful!!
I had ordered the Salmon Salad, had a nice balance of dressing and the salmon was really tasty. It was quality salmon, neither over done or under done. The accompanying bread was exceptional. Gluten free items are on the menu and desserts are excellent. They serve delicious American cuisine, and provide an unforgettable ambiance the reflect the water, boating, sailing and ships.
It was too cool that evening for dining on the patio, but I’d like to go back and take that in. The outdoor patio was spacious and looks like a quality experience. You can do pickup, delivery, or dine in. Definitely, make a reservation ahead of time to not be disappointed.
We were impressed with how many seating options are available, several rooms in addition to ours. Thanks to RedWater Restaurants for this delightful waterfront dining option. We had no problem finding parking and pre-arrangements were easy and our meal order was perfectly fulfilled. Restrooms are spacious and luxurious. They gave our group ample staff when did exceptionally great at serving everyone very quickly.
This place is highly recommended by our table.
We visit Holland every summer and Bowerman’s is always on the list! The gluten free options are fantastic!
Make sure to also visit their farm location!
Vegan Mushroom Pizza was absolutely delicious, asked for light vegan cheese. My parents had the gluten free pizza crust and said it was one of the best they b average ever had.
10/10 would recommend :)
The portion sizes compared to prices is outrageous except for the pastas. Our server barely stopped by. Server forgot to make one of our dinners gluten free and incorrect beer. I waited 15 minutes before going up to the bar.
The place was really nice and our server was an absolute sweetheart. Food was delicious and some of the appitizer portions were pretty big for the price and they had gluten free options which are a concern for me in every restaurant
My wife and I are here today.
First Impressions:
Easy location to get to. Clean seating area but interior very small. Wheelchair accessible via a wooden ramp. Bathroom was clean.
Food:
Good location for gluten-free food.
Pork tamale was very good to excellent, spices and temperature were on point.
Beans and rice were very good, seasoned properly, and were very tasty.
Steak burrito:
Steak burrito was sub par. The tortilla was a bit raw. Flavor was lacking in the meat and was served lukewarm.
Sweet Tamale:
My wife liked the sweet strawberry tamale, giving it a solid 4.5.
When you come, don't miss the pork tamale, beans and rice. Chips and salsa are also delicious.
My wife and I went here out of the blue. The atmosphere is great and it is awesome looking inside. My wife is a celiac and was able to choose many drinks and even a donut that was gluten free. Drinks were really tasty and so was the food.
Came here for lunch with friends. We were seated promptly. Nice menu with good variety. I had the soup and half sandwich, gluten free bread (thank you very much!) The soup offerings were chili and creamy chicken. The chili was hearty with just enough kick. The Rueben — oh I love a good Rueben! - had just the right amount of meat and fixins. Others ordered the jerk chicken and the Michigan salad with a protein. Was impressed with the size of the salad. Will probably get that next time. Recommend!

Limited choices, staff were not too familiar with gluten allergy/Celiac safe options but was confirmed that I would be safe to order the caprese salad and smashed redskins. Caprese was good.
A group of 5 of us went here last night. I thought it was excellent. Our waitress mentioned that her favorites were mostly the highlighted items in the menu and we agreed: chicken empanadas, adobo shrimp, braised short rib. But we really enjoyed everything and the staff was very nice.
Also, I want to mention, they have a large selection of Gluten Free items. I have 2 celiac children and even though they weren’t with me for this dinner, I always notice GF friendly places.
I’m not from Holland, I live in Portland, but whenever I come back I will be coming back here!
Had a great meal with excellent service. One person in our party has a gluten allergy and the menu didn't specify gluten contents. Our server, Juan S, was fantastic at explaining what was gluten free and explained about possible cross contamination in their cooking process so we knew what we could order. Juan S was great!
Tonight was a busy night, and service was way slower than usual. My party of 8 only got refills of water 1 time. Food was good and they offer a good amount of gluten free choices, too. I like Brann's but maybe try a different night to get better service. (it was the night before Thanksgiving)
Too salty. Too sticky. Too gluten-ey. For the Buzzkill, eating food can both traumatic and oddly arousing. Instead, take Buzzkill to the Good Earth Cafe in Holland. Serving breakfast and lunch, the cafe bakes their bagels from scratch. Their menu, which focuses on sweet and savory breads, wraps and soups, is highlighted by vegan-friendly HappyCow (DOT) com. Even the Buzzkill will find something to like.
The only thing this restaurant needs is a gluten free dessert option. With it being a mexican restaurant there are plenty of natural gluten free entrees. The service was great and the restaurant clean.
Owners are extremely nice and the food and coffee is delicious.
No reviews on gluten free items. I talked with the owner and he said they can accommodate people who have a gluten allergy.
