This spot features a well-lit, spacious, and clean interior that creates a pleasant atmosphere. While the ice cream flavors are unique and creamy, concerns about gluten cross-contamination make it unsuitable for those seeking a truly gluten-free experience.

Lazy service, don't allow tasters, lids were closed so you can't see what you're picking, they ran out of normal cones so they replaced them with gluten free which they then charged us for.

Avoid, and go to Yo-Chi instead! Very dangerous, misleading place. The arrogance of the staff will hurt someone. Steer clear. My children are diagnosed with Coeliac Disease via endoscopy. A serious autoimmune disease. When I asked which of their icecreams were were gluten free (if any! Because we don't expect) I was told EVERY flavour was absolutely completely gluten free...but as we were ordering they told us they make the icecreams in the SAME MACHINE as the waffle cones. When I stopped and asked them to re-clarify, they said "oh, the icecream might just contain traces of gluten". THAT IS NOT GLUTEN FREE! When I politely told him we can't eat gluten, and turned to leave, the other staff loudly asked what MY problem was and why was I so fussy?!" Why would anyone deny children ice cream by CHOICE! Avoid, avoid AVOID! Compare this to wonderful Yo-Chi three doors down, who's frozen yoghurt is ACTUALLY gluten free, and whose staff treated us beautifully, were kind to my children, and bought mix ins from the back so that their was no cross contamination. Go to Yo-Chi. Not this place.
A
Coeliac husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Karrinyup Billy van Creamy shop today. Which flavours are gluten free we asked. "All of them" they said. What? Even the cookies and cream? "Yes!" Wow, this does not happen often. Or at all, until now. They have a bunch of funky flavours that are right up our alley! Caramel Chai and Peppermint Choc Fudge... yummo! But our first taste was Cookies and Cream in gluten free cones, and it was pretty nice! The shop is well lit, spacious and clean and the staff enthusiastic, cheerful and capable. We secured 1/2 litre of chai caramel and triple choc to come home and we're well pleased with the whole affair.
