Enjoyed lunch with my 2 cousins a week ago. Our waitress Carol was knowledgeable about my need for gluten free and suggested one amendment to my southern chicken bowl order. My cousins enjoyed the fish tacos and all 3 meals were generous portions. The GM stopped by our table as well which was appreciated. Nice bright restaurant, music volume was appropriate as we could easily hear and talk to one another.

Delicious brunch here in a beautifully decorated dining room with lots of live plants Really love that they could accommodate our gluten free and dairy free member with a gluten aware pizza with vegan cheese. Our other meals were the Benny and the brunch burrito. Smashed potatoes on the side were a stand-out! Francesca was a friendly and helpful waitress that patiently helped us navigate the menu with the allergies in mind. One small improvement would be to be able to accommodate non-dairy milk at the coffee bar for lattes or cappuccinos.

CELIACS AVOID- their “gluten aware” is only accessible to those who are not celiac/have to take precautions re: cross contamination. Everything labeled GF is either deep fried in the same fryer or is a pizza which they insist can’t be put on a pizza pan or cooked in the regular oven. The poor waitress had to go back to the kitchen multiple times because we were brainstorming what I could eat. The kitchen wasn’t offering any helpful options. Eventually they agreed to make me a burger and toast the bun on a pan in the oven (originally the kitchen said no they use a shared toaster and didn’t offer to toast in the oven). The server alone would get 5 stars but the restaurant gets none. The 2 stars I gave were for her service. I suggest the restaurant not have a labelled menu with so many GF options if they don’t expect celiacs to come and try and eat there. They should just put “celiacs not welcome” on their website or make some much needed adjustment. Oh and I also had to pay $23 for the burger plus $2.50 for the GF bun while all my friends ate happy hour food (most items were labeled gf but I couldn’t eat them) and I couldn’t have a side because the fries were fried in the same fryer and a salad was an up charge of another $3.50 so I just didn’t bother since my sad solo burger was already almost $30 with tax. Won’t be returning.
