This is among the best places we visited in our time in Chicago. Trust me, you can taste the love in the queso birria. It came out quickly with perfect char and that consume is insane. To add, Joana was wonderful. Super attentive, had great recommendations and an infectious smile. I would also recommend the horchata- and all gluten free to boast! Multilingual and a great neighborhood vibe!

We were warmly greeted right when we got in the door. Everyone was so friendly and the waitress checked to see what was gluten free and the owner stated that no gluten comes through their doors. The food was DELICIOUS! The menu isn't huge, but what they make they make very well. I had the quesabirria combo and a lambs head taco made with homemade tortillas, The lambs head was so tender and flavorful and I was eating the consommé like soup. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
