Recently diagnosed with Celiac and heard about this place and wanted to try. Well....Did Not disappoint!!! Food was very very good, and service was great also. Definitely will be a permanent customer. Celiac or no Celiac Definitely give this place a try!!!

This place was very good. I have celiac and am super sensitive and did not get sick. I informed the staff of my allergy and they changed their gloves, used different serving spoons for hot toppings, and gave me cold toppings from new containers. I would definitely recommend this place!

Food taste good, service is also good. The table where we were seat was kinda of small. Prices seem to be kind of high and they also charge you 20% upfront for the service. They don't offer gluten-free toast or pancakes.

Our family went here while on vacation and we are so glad we did!! Huge selection of vegan food and everything was beautiful and tasted amazing. Super friendly staff. Gluten free items are clearly labeled on the menu. Anytime we are back in the area we’ll be sure to eat here!

Gluten Free Goodness after a show at the RIV! Sorry I was so hungry I forgot to take pics. They altered the brussels sprouts to make them gluten-free and they were amazing! I got three tacos: a chicken, steak, and duck. I ate the duck first because not everyone does duck very well and I didn’t want to end with it, however, I should have because the duck was the best of the three. The chicken was my second favorite, and I could have done without the steak… It was too well done and not much flavor. However, my friend did get a steak and that looked fabulous. The service was great, and the ambience was dark and charming.

Our first time at Rosie's and aside from the floor tables being too small ( preferred booth) the decor was on point with a great vibe. Our server Jonathan accommodated the gluten free challenge despite the physical menu not mentioning many options, the chefs were anle to modify the food items. The queso was very good and chips were fresh. The ingredients quite fresh and food items all tasty ... blueberry basil margarita that Jonathan recommended was the best we've had anywhere. Looking forward to return soon

It’s always spooky going to restaurants and not knowing if I’ll get sick or have cross contamination. This entire place is completely gluten-free minus the mole sauce. But it’s really easy to swap that out. You run no risk of cross-contamination here. Even the tortilla chips are gluten-free Everything there is so tasty. One of the owners cannot have gluten, which is why everything is so easily eatable by gluten-free people. Staff is completely knowledgeable! Just make sure you tell them you cannot have gluten and they’ll take care of you. This is my new favorite spot. I was able to eat the tortilla chips lol I know that seems really funny though but you get it!

Came here with the family and had a wonderful time! Adrian was our server, he was so kind and helpful! He was also super knowledgeable about all the gluten free options on the menu and brought out my tacos in a separate dish! Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! Will definitely be back soon!

Our server was very informed about Celiac and cross contamination and I felt a lot of confidence eating here needing to be gluten free. The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was very cool, we'll definitely be coming back here! Great to have this resource for eating safely gluten free downtown.

Suitable for celiacs and they speak Spanish! A celiac can eat perfectly without gluten. The waiter knew that it is cross contamination, and was very careful. So everything was truly Gluten Free. The waiters: very friendly, professional and at least one knew how to speak Spanish. The place is very well located, although you get a little cold after a while because of the air conditioning, like almost all restaurants in the USA. The only thing, the level of spiciness. I asked for zero spicy and they told me that it wasn't spicy at all, but it was somewhat spicy, they need to learn that in Spain zero spicy is zero, not a little bit. But hey, otherwise the food is good and according to many, the best taco food.

Our lunch here was amazing! My boyfriend and I are celiac/gluten free and our server, Amanda S, was so helpful! She was able to get us exactly what we needed! Some of the best service we’ve ever had. 10/10 will be back!

This is among the best places we visited in our time in Chicago. Trust me, you can taste the love in the queso birria. It came out quickly with perfect char and that consume is insane. To add, Joana was wonderful. Super attentive, had great recommendations and an infectious smile. I would also recommend the horchata- and all gluten free to boast! Multilingual and a great neighborhood vibe!

Rush order amazing food. What can I say about this fantastic restaurant and staff ? They put together a full lunch together for an emergency last minute lunch presentation. (my order was mistakenly cancelled by a different restaurant) I walked in and asked “can you put together a lunch for 15 in less than 20 minutes?” “ Oh and I have 2 vegans and also need gluten free”. Not only did they do so, they did it with grace and style and served me a frozen margarita while I waited ( to calm me down ). The manager Cruz was so accommodating and nice and the Chef even helped me carry all the food to my work meeting. I’m sorry but do you know any other restaurant on the planet that is this wonderful? I don’t. I will be back. In less of a rush so I can enjoy the food and frozen margaritas!!! Don’t miss a chance to try out this wonderful Naperville gem for delicious Mexican food. By the way the food was AMAZING!!

Gluten free options with lettuce wrap or corn tortilla, and you can customize and get rewards on their website if you use it to order ahead. It's 1am. You're drunk/high. Velvet Taco is the only solution.

The person that took care of us, Anthony, was so kind! I have a severe gluten allergy that makes going out difficult. He so happily made my meal safe. He changed out all the serving utensils, washed his hands, put hand sanitizer on, put on new gloves, and grabbed safe lettuce for me. Even when a coworker came to help that didn’t have safe gloves, Anthony chose safety and did not accept the help. This employee goes above and beyond to help his customers fell safe. I will be telling everyone about this experience! This place is great for those with gluten allergies

JORGE WAS AMAZING! We had amazing service from the beginning they accommodated all of our needs, especially because I had a gluten allergy. We rarely go out because we have a little one, but we decided to come here because we love the food. They accommodated us with our seating right away. And our drinks were great! had a great time even with our baby with us we are definitely coming again!

My husband and I brought our four boys here (ages 2-12). They had good kids options at a good price. I have several food allergies, including gluten and dairy. It was easy to find something to eat. I had a bowl and could only eat half of it. My 5 year old thought the nacho cheese sauce was a little spicy but they do offer shredded cheese instead (and he's super picky so it's probably fine for most). I will come here again.

Wow! What a wonderful restaurant. We had this place on our radar for a while and finally went for Friday date night. We ordered the lamb shank and a tlayuda. Both were very flavorful and delicious. This place has a very fun menu and we will be back soon to try additional items. The servers were very nice and they bring out chips with bean dip for an appetizer which was a fun and delicious change of pace from chips and salsa. This place is very friendly for gluten free diners and items that contain gluten are clearly marked on the menu.

Every happy I went here! I have (non-classical) celiacs, so I have to be very careful of gluten & cross-contamination. At the end of the menu they list which items are specifically gluten-free and the rest are likely cross-contaminated. Never saw this before anywhere, impressive off the bat! The waitress was knowledgeable as well and gave great service! I had barbacoa tacos, cauliflower rice (never had before & much tastier than I expected) plus black beans. My husband is picky about salsas but liked it quite a bit. Meal was great-tasting with reassurances of safety plus excellent service. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!
