Blaze Pizza

Edit: I've never been there before. I'm from out of town. I didn't know where to stand or where to order. The two ladies working around 11: oo (?) Sat were so friendly and helpful to me. They acted like I was a local and that I wasn't confused at all, lol. The half Pizza they suggested was perfect. Also, they asked me if my gluten order was because of an allergy or preference. No one's ever asked me that before. I am impressed.

I frequent the Greenville location, so I am familiar with Blaze Pizza. I love Blaze pizza, but I would not recommend this CLT location. The employees are very confused, and all act like it's their first day on the job. I asked for the gluten-free crust, and the woman taking my order told me they didn't have any, which they did. I specifically said I have severe allergies when ordering. At other locations, they are extremely careful when someone says they have allergies. Normally, they change their gloves & get toppings from the back in order to prevent cross contamination. They did none of this. I asked if they would please change their gloves, and if only I could put into words the look I got. Blaze pizza is known for catering to people with food allergies, but this Charlotte location does not. The pizza didn't even taste the same. There was way too much sauce, maybe 4 small pieces of grilled chicken, less than a 1/4 cup of vegan cheese & the crust tasted freezer burned. I will not be returning. Hopefully, this location will make some major changes because Blaze pizza is my go-to in other cities.
