Blowfish Sushi & Ramen

I've been coming here since the old location across the street, and it makes me so happy to see how successful they've been since expanding. I was diagnosed with celiac, so it was difficult trying to adjust to the fact I couldn't have everything from the menu anymore. Our waitress is one whom we have seen around for awhile and she was so kind in letting me know some of the rolls could be adjusted and made gluten free. She even brought gluten free soy sauce for me and gave reassurance (without me asking) that the rolls i got were made carefully! 🥹 I love it here and would recommend anyone, Celiac and non-celiac, to come here! For sure my favorite place in Chicago! 🍣❤️

Love this place! Very hearty, delicious ramen. Their special sushi rolls are also great! My boyfriend has celiac disease and our server informed us they had limited gluten free options, but he got sushi (with tamari) didn’t have any reaction. $5 hot sake was a good way to warm up on a chilly evening 🍶
