Blu Oyster Sushi & Seafood

We discovered only after we booked reservations, invited a guest, and arrived that the restaurant is supposedly closing and operating with a very limited menu and staff. nothing That we normally come to Blu Oyster to enjoy was available and one item on the ultra limited offerings was already sold out at 5:15 on Sunday. The $44 bottle of wine we ordered was terrible but the waiter couldn’t do anything about it despite our immediate displeasure. If you don’t eat gluten, pasta or rice there was nothing to eat. Mashed potatoes were cold. Salmon over cooked. Manager/ chef’s wife was rude. No specials, no 1/2 off, Disappointed and embarrassed in front of guest. Good luck Rob and Mike.

I cannot say enough about this place. If you are Gluten Free you must go, if you like seafood you must go. We had a party of 16 and they accommodated us without hesitation. Some of the best seafood I have ever eaten. No one in our group had a bad thing to say about the food, beverages or service. Love our waitress, she was phenomenal, friendly and took care of us. Fresh, Fresh Fresh food, so flavorful and HUGE Portions. We tried 5 different Sushi Rolls,Calamari, Lobster Poutine, Raw Oysters, Mussels, She Crab Soup, and that was just for apps!! The scallops melt in the mouth, The fried shrimp where light and flavorful, the Cioppino was to die for. Dedicated fryers! This is a must go for any seafood lover or anyone Gluten Free. My wife was ecstatic. Dare I say the Blu Oyster is OFF THE HOOK!! Thanks Chef
