Blue Agave Mexican Food

Best chicken fajitas ever and really yummy gluten free options! As a celiac, I have never gotten sick from here in the last 2 years I’ve eaten there!

Unfortunately we had a gluten contamination problem here that derailed our evening. We ordered what appeared to be the only veggie/gluten free thing on the late night menu and reminded our waitress that there was a gluten intolerance related to the order. They served the tacos on a flour tortilla and not corn and we didn’t realize until we are halfway done. unfortunately we had to leave quickly thereafter. I’m glad the waitress comped the offending tacos but the offer for remaking them was untenable due to the somewhat emergency situation of leaving. I had to pay for the rest of the order even though my own dinner was cut short and I had to abandon most of my Bev. I think the waitress handled it okay but honestly being required to leave a pre-charged tip that I probably wouldn’t have been eager to leave was frustrating and kind of unfair. The manager should have just comped the whole bill. I hope that this restaurant will issue a more clear gluten free menu in the future with a precise language that makes it obvious to the staff and kitchen what’s being ordered. We double checked when we ordered but you dear customer should triple check what you receive if you have an allergy or serious intolerance.
