Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up staying for dessert too - butter chicken was fire, and that gluten-free cupcake? Unreal. Definitely coming back.
We visited Baltimore this weekend and had lunch @ Philips, it was a great experience especially thanks to Ruslan’s service, I have dietary restrictions due to celiac disease and he was very supportive of my need and everything was good, no issues with food
Food was tasty and had good quality, we sat outside as the weather was very nice and very enjoyable
Amazing. Must go. Gluten-free friendly, fresh tortillas made in house with imported Mexican corn. Flights of Mezcal. Excellent tacos. Astounding tamales. Just get there!
Got the beet salad which had a fabulous lemon dressing, and falafel. My husband got the bronzino and our meals were fabulous. I appreciated our server bringing out gluten free crackers with the pita, since I can't eat gluten. Our server was Alex I and he was sweet, accommodating, and attentive. Will definitely come here again.
They have gluten free pizza that they can make on a separate pan to avoid cross contamination and a dedicated fryer for delicious fried brussel sprouts!
I live nearby and frequent Zella’s very regularly. Their pies absolutely do not disappoint! Cheese is always excellent. Two or three crusts to choose from (including cauliflower and gluten free crusts) and many topping choices.
Their bar is great, with draft beers, plenty of wine, and other beers/etc in the coolers. Bartenders are always friendly and engaging, and actually aware of neighborhood events! Baran, Rasul, and Luis are my favorites!
The St. Magnus is my current favorite pizza! It’s so much deliciousness into one amazing meat salad 😂
The night was cold and miserable, but the moment we entered La Scala, all that was left behind. It is a warm and inviting environment where comfort food is the default option everywhere on the menu. My wife has celiac disease, and they handled that obstacle like a minor pothole in the road, even assured us that in a world Swimming in homemade pasta, their gluten free area was safe from cross contamination. We predictably eat well and have a wonderful experience every time we enter their doors.
SMASH DOG all the way... I thoroughly enjoyed 2 house specials together as one and the only way to enjoy this exceptional gluten free crust crispness. Do not forget the fo dippin chz sauce.
Papi’s is so great! They have dairy free and gluten free options and you get free chips and salsa for the table. Their short rib burrito is awesome and they have a nice happy hour too.
After an afternoon of axe throwing, my wife and I were looking for a place with great food and gluten-free options, and Carrabba's exceeded our expectations. Our server was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food arrived remarkably fast, just 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered, and everything was cooked to perfection. It was clear that the kitchen staff took pride in their work. What truly stood out was when the chefs themselves came to our table to personally ensure that our meals were perfect - a truly exceptional touch! The atmosphere was wonderfully laid-back, with decent music creating a relaxing ambiance. And to top it all off, we were able to take home a delicious to-go order for only $10 thanks to a special they were running. Overall, a 5-star experience from start to finish.
My favorite place to eat! Everything is so delicious and the updated menu is great! Service is wonderful and their recommendations were perfect. Good for gluten and dairy allergies too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best meal with great portions, perfect spice and fresh ingredients’
!
Finally made my way to this coffeehouse today for a quick to-go order. I stopped in mostly for coffee, but ended up ordering a couple of GF bagels. Being celiac, I get excited seeing GF options. Although the bagel was on the flat side, but it was good and I appreciate having something to order. The coffee was good as well. Will definitely come back on my visits to Baltimore to enjoy hanging out at this cute shop.
Great restaurant that happens to be in an airport near gate B9 at BWI.
The crab soup is surprisingly good as is the shrimp and crab flatbread though the dough on the flatbread is unusual as it's gluten free and almost spongy like a crepe - I think a regular wheat dough would have been better!
The bloody Marys are excellent, no need to spring for the pricey Crabby Mary though it's a double shot and a crab claw, if that's your thing!
Food was good but nothing spectacular. My other guests loved the crispy chicken sandwich. The service at lunch was slow. They should have more gluten free options.
The absolute best gluten free pizza ever!! My friends had the calzone and they were huge!! The staff is always nice and the place is always clean!! I would highly recommend.
Cool bar, cool vibes, great people and great food. Bonus for having cocktails on draft. Definitely a local staple. The rico suave is my favorite and they have the BEST hand cut fries.
Would loved if they had gluten free buns added.
Love this place! The variety of food options is incredible and unique - they represent a number of cuisines from around the world and have a plethora of gluten-free and vegetarian options. The atmosphere is so fun and very kid-friendly. The only real downside is that on busy days it can be hard to find a table, but I've never not been able to find a place to sit down. Game day is also fun here - they've got a few TVs around and a nice bar area to sit and watch from. I'd highly recommend checking it out!
I have never gone to eat here without the owner Mona herself being super friendly and making sure we are well taken care of. This is a great business. The food is great too! I only wish that there was more gluten-free options.
The selection of vegan and gluten free options was fantastic and the server was a hoot! I had the PB & J dessert that was rich and delicious but be forewarned, it's enough for two people or a single person with a gigantic appetite. Would definitely come here again.
The Rusty Scupper is a lovely seafood restaurant right on the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. We both had their specialties - Maryland crab soup and the fresh local Rockfish. Both were delicious and the waiter worked with us to get gluten-free sides. Our waiter, Mark, was excellent! Highly recommend.
Hex is a well-lit, charming spot in Charm City. With their own collection of handcrafted kombucha and fermented veggies, which are also featured on their menu, their products can be found all over town at local shops and farmer's markets. But, stopping into their superette is absolutely worthwhile. They have a small market with local goodies from small businesses and a full menu of delightful plates, snacks and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). If you eat vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, there's plenty on the menu for you, as well! The service was very personable, friendly, and I felt well-cared for. I will be back for sure!
Love this place! It’s my favorite place to go with friends or for a date. I love their food and beer wall. I’m gluten free so I can’t have bread or beer, but they have gluten free bread and non-beer drinks. They have games to play (board games, skee ball, video games). They also have karaoke and trivia. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore.
Chuck (bartender) and the owner were amazing. We are celebrating my dads birthday here and the owner overheard us asking chuck for a gluten free menu as my dad can’t eat gluten. They did not have one, however, chuck gave us the allergy menu. IN ADDITION to this the owner went to the chef and asked to mark which menu items could be gluten free. We didn’t even know he overheard us and went to do this task so when he came back out with the menu marked for gluten friendly items we were soo pleased. We love amazing customer service, so thank you True Chesapeake Oyster
Wow! The Mrs. and I went here from out of state hoping for some amazing seafood boil and this exceeded our expectations!! The establishment was fast, friendly, and super clean! All of the staff was so quick to answer any question. Plus, they were more than willing to accommodate Gluten Free and went above and beyond to make sure everything was amazing. They have tons of gluten free options and seasonings too! AJ our server was so friendly, super nice and more than willing to learn about GF too. The food was amazing and seasonings were out of this world! If we were local, we would come again and again.
The ambiance is charming, warm, and inviting. Our waitress helped us immediately. And the menu has many inclusive options for gluten free and vegan friendly folks.
Our group always wants to go there but they don't offer any gluten free/ gluten sensitive options besides salad. I understand certified gluten free is hard but gluten sensitive isn't. A roll or a crust would be great and appreciated. The staff explanation was it's just too hard to do (gluten free/ sensitive) Wow. Thumbs down. I'll continue to give my business to Verde.
This brewery/bar/restaurant is awesome. They brew their own beer, which I've heard is really good. As a (symptomatic) celiac myself, I highly recommend it for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity; they offer cider, mead, and gluten free beer. Amazing! Plus, on the cocktail menu, they mark the drinks that contain gluten (so thoughtful!). They have a separate fryer, and they're knowledgeable about cross contamination. I've had the rosemary and garlic fries, which are delicious, and had no symptoms after. Cool vibes both upstairs and downstairs.
