Outstanding food, not greasy. Prepared with good quality ingredients and lots of vegan, vegetarian gluten free options. Friendly staff who are conscience about the environment. Saw one staff member bussing a table and she reused the unused water from the table to water the plants. Will definitely be back.

We love this place. It is a culinary gem tucked away in a working marina boat yard. For us any trip through Port Townsend, and a few "let's do the Blue Moose for breakfast" trips across the sound include a visit to the Blue Moose Cafe. All their food is scratched cooked to order from fresh ingredients. The coffee is a local fresh roast and they offer mimosas. They can prepare many of their menu items as no gluten, no carb, non-dairy as required for special dietary needs. As good as the Blue Moose is be warned; if you arrive when busy (pretty much all the time) there will be a wait. They have limited seating but the friendly staff works to minimize the wait while not rushing your time at the table. One last note; they are cash or check only so come prepared.
