Hot udon bowl made me think of something an American airline would serve on an international flight and try and pass off as Asian. Tempeh was surprisingly bad for being marinated. Focaccia will never be enjoyed by those knowing what gluten tastes like - sorry, but the texture and chalkiness was concerning. Green chili bowl was literally sliced potatoes in broth. Cool cafe vibe and friendly staff at least

Had a lovely lunch at this cafe. I ordered pumpkin soup with focaccia along with sides of tofu and chickpeas. Soup was fresh and tasty. Gluten free focaccia was very well executed. Chickpea salad seemed freshly made too, celery made it nice and crunchy. The dressing or the herbs in the salad weren't overpowering at all. Tofu was highlight of the meal for me. So delicately spiced and perfectly fried, still firm and not oily at all. Not even a single piece crumbled throughout the meal. Loved the overall quiet vibe of this space. Highly recommend if you want to have a quiet, noise free lunch.

I’m an out-of-town visitor and was planning to try the well-known Clafoutis’s bakery (having heard they have some vegan options for my dairy allergy), but they are closed on Sundays. So I made an amazing discovery at Body Cafe next door! Its vegan organic menu, with gluten-free options, is focused on supporting local farmers. How much healthier can you get? I had several slices of fresh baked, gluten-free focaccia and a chickpea (sprouted) salad resembling the texture of chicken salad, with vegan mayo and seasoned with dill and nutritional yeast, and a lovely crunch provided by celery and pickles. And it gets even better! They have in-house baked, vegan pastries and truffles, and they feature the vegan line of the renowned Kakawa chocolates. Especially for health-conscious customers who may also have food, allergies, and sensitivities, I heartily recommend trying the Body Cafe!
