We can't wait to go this restaurant again! I wasn't well and straight away felt at ease. The owner is a lovely lady and consistently tried her best to help my mother and I with our dietary restrictions. She was very welcoming and caring about our situation, as was her friend Carol. Her son made the food and it was delicious. We had a whole grilled seabass, salad and chips, as well as grilled salmon, salad and chips. Everything was gluten free and dairy free. The chilli pepper dip was really lovely (we couldn't have the other complementary dips and bread due to our dietary requirements). The setting is gorgeous and so we sat on the couch by the wall so we could see the whole restaurant. The food took a while to come, but it was well worth the wait. There were no issues and everything was as we asked for. Fairly priced for all the above. Service wasn't on the bill, so of course we gave a good tip as a thank you. Try this restaurant - you won't regret it and you'll leave looking forward to your next visit.

I have had takeaway deliveries from Bosphorus Restaurant for some considerable time. The quality of the food, the standard of the chefs and the politeness of the delivery drivers is simply outstanding. Today, I dined in and had the most fabulous vegetarian moussaka, together with gluten free white rice, fabulous pitta bread and dips alongside a beautiful home made salad. For dessert I had gluten free chocolate orange cake, some turkish delights and a lovely glass of fresh apple juice. I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. I have known the Owners for many years and their customer service has always been and continues to be in a league of its own. Right up there as one of the top restaurants in Hitchin.
