i came here with a friend for a catchup and a coffee and the staff were absolute angels. first off they took my order (i have a gluten allergy) at the bar and even got a manager to ensure it went through properly. they brought our food over and it was lovely! i have eaten at the lounges many times in different locations and they are always SO on it with allergies from my experience. we got a GF cheesecake to share and they again got a manager to put it through the till for me. after we ate we decided to try and do a puzzle (they have games and books available!) and due to time constraint we couldnt finish it and so i asked if i could buy it off them! without hesitation the manager said i could keep it. i had such a good day here, they are so attentive and sweet. i dont know their names but it was a lovely lady with a moomin tattoo, a girl in a pink shirt w a scottish accent and a really chill dude wearing all black w a beard. thank you!!!!🤍
We don't usually go out for fast food as I do a pretty mean burger with dirty onions and my daddy fried chicken is banging if I do say so myself. However the Mrs won £100 from social media to spend so we popped in on a Wednesday evening. 1 x Veggie adult 1 x Gluten free adult and 1 x "normal" 9 year old.
Service was great, the two people serving were very helpful and super nice. All our dietary requirements were more than catered for and the menu was explained in detail. We had gluten free double caws burger, veg caws burger, hot honey crisp chicken burger, Parmesan and truffle fries, cajun fries and cawboy fries, gluten free buffalo tenders, plus two strawberry milkshakes, and a water. food came out in a timely manner given it's all fresh. Everything was really tasty, the smashed burgers had a decent crust and were lovely, honey chicken was huge with decent coating, gluten free tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. Truffle and Parmesan chips were stand out. Everything would have come to just over £70.00 my old man head says that seems a lot but looking at the other burger places around it's competitive, and for us it was free anyway! Two suggestions 1) All gluten free rolls and poo full stop, I've not found one yet unless homemade that's any good. Maybe have a look at the Tesco gluten free tiger bread cut thick and toasted to replace as a sandwich style burger, I've started doing that at home and it works. 2) Get an auto close thing on the door as people in Hitchin seem to be born in a barn.
Lovely dinner, well done Caws team...I may well be back on my own to snaffle the remaining prize.
The pizzas at Sam’s are delicious. Fresh ingredients and super base. My daughter has a gluten intolerance and her gluten free pizza looked and tasted great. It’s not often you can find a gluten free option that tastes so good. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Looking forward to seeing the results of the renovation! X
Really friendly staff member looked after us. Made sure everything was OK with our gluten free food and that our little girl had everything she needed.
Excellent service from Eda helping me make gluten free choices which was really useful for me as someone with Coeliac disease. Eda was very friendly and is an asset to Zizzi and the gluten free choices were excellent.

Lovely restaurant, the food is always great!
I’ve ate here 3-4 times and never had any issues with gluten free (I have celiac disease so have to be very careful) the staff are very attentive it’s, definitely worth a visit
Went here a week ago as a party of six. The tapas food was excellent, as was the service. They were very accomodating in respect of one of our party being a coeliac. It is a bit pricey but still deserves a 5 star rating.
Highly recommend this place for lunch!! As a gluten free person it’s hard to find nice food but the ham and cheese melt was delicious!! Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere! Definitely worth a trip!!
Consistently serving amazing food time and time again, no matter what time of the day. They’re also well clued up on food intolerances and have the best gluten free buns 🏆
Really nice cafe. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about allergens. Had a lovely gluten free groundwork’s breakfast with the sausage (gluten containing) substituted for extra bacon.
In a very popular road, right in the middle we found this nice coffee shop. Amazing decoration and furniture. Nice atmosphere and services.
Lots of young persons at the other side of the counter and not very quick service.
Nice display for sweet cakes and a big blackboard for bagels and prices on the wall.
Cakes went well during my visit I saw how they disappeared.
Everything cost a bit more than other coffee shops but is good to have plant based milk and gluten free options.
Absolutely amazing tasting, well presented food.
Staff incredibly knowledgeable about the gluten free menu, updating me on options throughout my meal.
Definitely one of my new favourite places to eat.
Alex and staff were able to accommodate food for 100 hungry students. They went above and beyond for the dietary requirements- gluten free and Vegan and the food was delivered on time and piping hot. Thank you so much 🙂
Accommodated me as a gluten free vegan. The restaurant isn't large, not their fault but the table next to us was loud and our waiter didn't understand us but the manager and other staff were good, I think our guy was new. The food was good, we ordered takeaway from here several times and it's always been good.
Just had a takeaway delivered from you guys and can't fault it. Really delicious, beautifully presented food. Great value for money and very refreshing to have a take away available that is healthy and also has gluten free and vegan options available. Thank you, will be back.
We can't wait to go this restaurant again!
I wasn't well and straight away felt at ease. The owner is a lovely lady and consistently tried her best to help my mother and I with our dietary restrictions. She was very welcoming and caring about our situation, as was her friend Carol.
Her son made the food and it was delicious. We had a whole grilled seabass, salad and chips, as well as grilled salmon, salad and chips. Everything was gluten free and dairy free. The chilli pepper dip was really lovely (we couldn't have the other complementary dips and bread due to our dietary requirements).
The setting is gorgeous and so we sat on the couch by the wall so we could see the whole restaurant.
The food took a while to come, but it was well worth the wait. There were no issues and everything was as we asked for.
Fairly priced for all the above. Service wasn't on the bill, so of course we gave a good tip as a thank you.
Try this restaurant - you won't regret it and you'll leave looking forward to your next visit.
