I ate at Boston Pizza last night with my brother and his friend. As someone with Celiac Disease, eating out can be a hit or miss experience, and more often than not ends up with me being sick, but I was only in town for a short time and wanted to take them to dinner and a movie. The way that the staff and management handled my restrictions was absolutely amazing, like nothing I have received anywhere before. Our waitress was knowledgeable and was able to inform me of what on the menu would be safe for me to have. The manager personally came out to talk to me about why my food was talking longer, because there was cross-contamination. They remade it for me and all my food was outstanding.
Thank you to the wonderful waitress, kitchen staff and management for handling this so well, as this is not the normal experience for someone with my disease. Too often do I end up eating a plain salad for dinner, or being told they couldn’t serve me anything when I go out.
Thank you all so much for making this one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant since my diagnosis.
