At first I was in love with this place, sooo many gluten free vegan options, but they got my order wrong and I asked them to fixed it, then they got my partners wrong as well, and I didn't bother to ask them because the attitude I got back from the ladies at the counter was really disappointing, I even tried to say have a good day and got not even an acknowledgement back... Not usual for me as I love coffee shops and foodie places. I came in with a great attitude and was just met with grumpy faces.. Hopefully this was an off day. Cause this place seems pretty cool Went back in this morning as it's one of the only places for gluten and dairy free and was completely the opposite experience 🙏😍😍😅 felt the need to edit the experience as I hate leaving bad reviews

I was pleased with the level of knowledge the staff had and the care the kitchen took, to provide me (a Celiac) something to eat. (I had no reactions after eating)

I always love going to the barburrito in Courtenay, and the staff remember me and my order! They are very knowledgeable about gluten free and take extra care that is rare to find in fast food restaurants to make sure my GF food is separate, big thanks to the friendly and awesome staff Ash especially at barburrito!

This place is amazing! The best gyro I’ve had in a very long time. They have great rice wraps if you are gluten free so you can still enjoy this authentic Greek food without feeling like you are missing out. We went through the drive-thru and the convenience was awesome! They even gave our dogs some left over meat. This place is a new favourite…for us AND the dogs!

Absolutely blown away by my dinner tonight! Entire soft shell crab done in tempura (only had to pay an extra $1.25 for it to be done gluten free) Gluten free prawn/yam tempura and avocado roll (absolutely enormous!) K’omox roll. Wonderful fresh sockeye and avocado. And the miso soup (not seen) was cheaper and 3x the size than other places with massive chunks of soft tofu (and gluten free, which it usually is not). I’m not one to write reviews, but this was next level sushi and service and I hope Ichiban knows how incredible they are.

Excellent Greek eatery in the Courtenay/Comox area... We walked in and were transported to awesomeness. Lots of vegan and gluten free options.. Great food... Great service... We'll be back

We were looking for gluten free options and something hot to eat. The Chef and server were very careful and created a hot sushi. I added the cool cucumber salad . It was delicious. It's a corner location so difficult to create a cozy experience. Easy to find which offsets cozy by a long way.
