Looooooove this place. My family went here a couple times as a kid and we enjoyed it but hadn’t gone in a while. We went last night to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, and it was an enjoyable experience. The ambiance was welcoming and fun, if a little loud. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. I unfortunately forgot our server’s name but we loved his professionalism and promptness. He was fun to talk to but also not overbearing and let us enjoy our time together.
The food was mouth-watering. I got the Tortelloni, my dad got the eggplant parmesan, and my mom got the cannelloni. We shared a ceasar salad and my mom ordered a house Pinot Grigio. I should start my saying that my mom is breathing down my neck to make sure I write that they hand make their pasta, instead of buying it from somewhere. I don’t know if that’s true, but I assume so, and that’s really cool. All dishes were reasonably priced and portioned so I didn’t feel like I ate too much or too little. The salad was done the traditional way instead of mass market. So instead of being tossed in a bowl, they take uncut leaves and dress them on the plate. I unfortunately didn’t get a picture.
We got a tiramisu and some gelato for dessert which were also addicting to eat.
Every dish, including the dessert, was light in the mouth. What I mean is, I didn’t feel like I was so full, I’d throw up in 2 bites. The tiramisu was spongy and soft.
No single flavor was overpowering so thank you to the chefs for understanding balance. Us neurospicy people are happy.
Anyway there’s lots of parking! And they put in the work to produce gluten free options on the menu.
