An aspiring vegan's paradise with creative dishes, plus the owner often tries new things and might give out free samples!
My financial advisor told me about this place a while back. I normally eat vegan, dairy free, gluten-free, and processed sugar-free. To my delight, Tumerico offered me plenty of choices.. My husband and I had a terrific meal and experience! I totally enjoyed every bite of my Ropas Viejas. It was plenty of food and very tasty, made with jackfruit. My husband had an Ethiopian dish with lentils that was also great. I usually can't order dessert but they had a gluten-free vegan coconut sugar chocolate cake with coconut icing that was divine. It's wonderful to find a place that serves healthy food that also accommodates special diets. And you don't have to have a special diet to enjoy eating here! The staff was so friendly and excited about the food they prep and serve. You'll find plenty of tables located in multiple rooms with lots of natural light for dining. We were there at lunch and parking was a bit limited. We had to park a short distance away on a side street. But it was worth the short walk. If you want to find a tasty and healthy dining experience try Tumerico!

A bustling spot known for delicious Asian cuisine, oriental aesthetic, multilingual staff, but could up the cleanliness game a bit.
I'm gluten-free, and their lettuce wraps are the best.I always make a stop in when in Arizona.
420 W Magee Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704, USA
Spot-on for anniversaries or birthdays, even with a large group; admire mountain views from the patio; gets a bit noisy though.
I got clams over linguini, it was salty but good. I would definitely order again. There is gluten-free pasta available for an up charge on most dishes. I was happy with this place & will go again!
7053 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, Arizona, United States
A consistently good spot with a creative menu, offering a charming atmosphere and outdoor dining with summer misters to keep cool.
I haven't been here in about 15 years. The prices are rather high, from what I remember! This is a small simple cafe with outdoor seating. I had the strawberry chicken salad which is a favorite, it was good. Served with a sourdough roll that did not taste like it was sourdough.( Hopefully it doesn't hurt my stomach. Being gluten free I can eat sourdough without issues) My friend had the chicken tortilla soup. She didn't care for it, said it didn't have flavor. She didn't eat it. Hunter was out server. She was nice friendly and engaging. I gave 4 stars because almost everything on the menu was priced at $19. And my friend was not happy that I chose the place.

A lively spot with a creative menu, known for its authentic Middle Eastern fare and attentive service, frequented by out-of-towners.
The gyro has always been great. I get it on the gluten free pita with jalapeno hummus in place of tzatziki. I finally ventured out and tried the kafta burger on the gluten free bun and it was amazing too. Great places with great food!

A humble jewel in downtown Tucson, loved for its homey vibe, inspiring owner, and remarkable passion for fresh, wholesome victuals.
Small place, and you may have to wait, but it's worth it for Nepalese style food. No alcohol for sale, if that matters... Nice selection of gluten free options
4660 E Camp Lowell Dr, Tucson, AZ 85712, USA
Bursting with flavors, this spot offers top-quality options and an authentic experience, and people are eager to return for another round.
I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s my favorite restaurant in Tucson! Not just the food but also the atmosphere and service. My father and I like to go and I always get the butter chicken and garlic naan. He always gets the shrimp tandoori. The vegetable pakora is great too. My father is gluten and dairy free and he has no issues eating there. The staff is knowledgeable about what items are gluten and dairy free and I have never had a bad experience. I also love that they will customize what level of heat you want in your dish.
