Beautiful, elegant restaurant located in the underground cellar of the town hall. Huge wooden barrels with the coat of arms of Bremen as well as classical paintings decorating the walls catch the eye. The arches in the ceiling and the historical decor add to the ambiance. Dining here is like a taking a trip back in time. Delicious food, professional service - this is a great place to enjoy a nice, leisurely meal. I enjoyed the starter from the seasonal asparagus menu. Here you can enjoy local Bremen specialties as well as Nordic and rustic favourites, including Knipp, "Seemannslabskaus" and Bremer Kluten. In their menu. they categorize their dishes for those with food allergies/preferences - vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. Reservations here are highly recommended.
