great atmosphere the train car set up is fun and interesting. It is our stop when driving to Homer every time, The food is tasty and has options for gluten intolerant people. Staff is always in a good mood even in bad weather. It is the standard by which we judge coffee shops everywhere

This is such a cool spot! We drove down from Anchorage last fall just to come here and right after we ordered the power went out. They refunded us, but I wasn’t able to make it back until recently and was excited to finally try the shakin’ bacon waffle (pictured, but I ate most of it first). It did not disappoint! I ordered it gluten free - I have celiac and had no issues with this order. I also got a firebox freeze and it was a perfect addition to the waffle.
