The meal we had at Bubala is probably the best we ate this year - and is in my and my partner's top 10 meals. We most recommend the beetroot (so innovative and delicious, along with being waste-free) and the smashed cucumbers (top tip: take the tahini and chilli oil mix from this and top up your hummus with it. I would pay to have this bottled!).
Also, as a coeliac, it's hard to find a menu that you can enjoy without stress. You get this at Bubala along with a genuinely incredible food, great atmosphere, and an ability to hear your order being called out with your allergens from the open kitchen, which is so reassuring.
I so hope they release a cookbook because I would pay an extraordinary amount of money to try and make this at home.
