The menu consists of 2 types of burgers, cheeseburger and hamburger. This makes choosing a lot easier for people with choice stress. They also have gluten-free burgers and they tasted very delicious (see photo), including gluten-free fries. Inside it is not very pleasant to dine for a long time (kind of like a more luxurious McDonald's, really aimed at eating quickly and leaving again), but if you want to quickly settle down, this is a perfect stop.

The place essentially only has two types of sandwiches, burgers and cheeseburgers, you can have doubles and add sauces, salad, pickles and tomatoes. The sandwich is as simple as it is good. The fries are good. There are also gluten free options

As a family we have enjoyed Bunsen for years. Saturday was our first time going to Bunsen Dame St. We ordered gluten free buns and when they came the base was still frozen. They took them back and when they came out again they had very obviously been put in a microwave or some sort of quickfire oven. The burgers were completely wet and boiling hot with steam rising out of them; too hot to touch. After a bit of debate we were offered new ones which we accepted. The two other people in our party were now finished. Our burgers came. We checked that they remembered gluten free and they said they did. My replacement was lovely. We got the bill then and we were overcharged by €8. After another little debate we got that sorted and left. My husband is now home and suffering badly from a gluten attack. So he was given a regular base possibly because the top looked right. Just telling you like it is. The staff we spoke to were not that friendly and had zero cuatomer service skills. We went out to have a nice meal together and it was all just a lot of hassle and now illness for one of us. Bunsen on South Anne st, Baggot St and Temple Bar have always been great. The staff in Dame St need some training.
