Bureau de Poste is one of the most elegant dining experiences in Austin. The food is outstanding—the roasted chicken is perfectly cooked with crisp skin and rich, creamy (gluten-free!) potatoes. The lobster is equally impressive—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I really appreciate how gluten-free friendly the menu is. Several dishes are naturally GF or can be modified, and the staff was helpful and informed when I asked questions. The ambiance is refined yet comfortable, with excellent service from start to finish. Yummy, yummy, yummy. Gluten free friendly & accommodating . The staff, service, the whole ambience, was wonderful. Our waitress Lihuelal [sp?] was great. ( And that the entire staff knew who Hildegard von Bingen was, was impressive)
