What a cool place! It’s hard to describe the vibe of this bookstore/restaurant. Lots of art on the walls, good music playing (live music sometimes too) and the food? You know when you eat something so good that you unintentionally make noises? Everyone at our table…every single person…made multiple of those noises. The nachos were plentiful and flavorful, the chicken was “REAL good” to quote my friend. The blackened mahi mahi( pictured) was absolutely delicious. To top it off, 3 of the four of us have celiac and therefore have pretty strict food guidelines. They have multiple gluten free options (and not just knock offs of their regular menu) I’m not in DC very often, but this will become a regular spot when I am.
