We walked in planning to buy two pastries, but we walked out buying nothing. A small cup of their tiramisu was $8.50 while their gluten free option cost $11. It's a bummer the prices have gotten outrageously high at our local bakery. Button Rock would have had two more sales had the prices been lower.

Disappointing Decline After Ownership Change I used to love this bakery — it was my go-to spot for years, and I even trusted them to make the desserts for my wedding. Back then, everything they made had that special homemade taste and quality you could count on, from the classic chocolate chip cookies to their gluten-free treats. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, it’s just not the same place. The recipes have clearly changed, the ingredients don’t taste as fresh or high-quality, and what used to be rich and flavorful now tastes flat and mass-produced. Every time I’ve given them another chance, hoping it was just an off day, I’ve been let down. It’s really disappointing to see a place that once felt so special lose what made it great. I wish the new owners would bring back the original recipes and commitment to quality that made so many of us loyal customers in the first place.

This strawberry croissant was just about too beautiful to eat it! Flaky and buttery outside with soft and airy inside. The breakfast sandwich was more food than I anticipated and tasted great. Highly recommend Button Rock Bakery. They have a ton of wonderful gluten free items for your sweet tooth that has allergy restrictions. Fun and unique GF options not found many places!
