I was at a conference at the hotel and needed a no-gluten lunch option. Turns out they had a full no-gluten kitchen setup including deep fryer. I got to have fries, first time in a long time. They prepared me a light and custom open faced sandwich lunch with fries. Very tasty and very appreciated.

Second time here and it was kind of an odd experience. Ordered: pull apart bread, large cured meats, gluten free vodka sauce with shrimp, porchetta, sirloin, with asparagus and Parm fries. Flavor of everything was on pointe except the porchetta which could have had more seasoning. But there was some weird execution and odd choices. Good execution: best French fries I’ve had in a long time. Poor execution: focaccia was great but the cheese toward the bottom didn’t melt and was actually cold. Porchetta MUST HAVE crispy skin. Did not. Odd choices: only two cured meats in the selection, a bit of sausage and a mountain of mortadella. Two tiny pieces of cheese. Don’t know why it was so oddly balanced but might have been because we asked for gluten free so maybe there were other meat selections which contained gluten. Also our pasta dish was supposed to be rigatoni but subbed spaghetti due to gluten free. Oddly, all the spaghetti was broken into 2” pieces. Maybe this was a choice to have the pasta be similar in length to rigatoni but when you get spaghetti you expect a different length, and it just felt like when you cut up a kid’s noodles. Overall, more like 3.5. Not a disaster, but just inconsistent.
