Cabo Fish Taco

Good food (not amazing food, but solid). The service was fast. Crab and shrimp dip was excellent. Calamari tacos were a great idea, but there was hardly any of the “white cilantro sauce” added. 0.50 charge for any extra sauce. If you have food allergies (gluten, shellfish) there would be limited to no options here. Overall good, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here.

This was not my first time eating here. And I can honestly say that the experience is consistent every... single...time. We arrived early on a Friday evening and were promptly seated. In fact, it took way longer for us to find parking than it did to get a table. Our waitress was patient and attentive throughout our visit. She was also knowledgeable about the menu as well as dietary restrictions (gluten-free). We took her suggestion about mixing and matching to try different tacos. Our food came out very quickly. All of our orders were prepared exactly as requested. The portions are generous and the food was flavorful. Just a few warnings: the complimentary salsa is a bit on the spicy side. The Honey Wasabi Sauce on the Tavarua tacos was a little heavy but I survived. If I had to take off for anything, it would be the ambiance. It's pretty dark which made it difficult to take good photos. And it was also very loud. Pro-tip: Sign up for their rewards program to earn points for visits. There is also a restaurant app.
