Snooze lives up to its fantastic name and only gets better from there. The atmosphere has a quirky diner vibe, complemented by exceptionally hospitable service. My wife ordered the Denver omelet with hash browns and gluten-free toast, and she devoured nearly all of it—which is a rare feat! I opted for the traditional eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a side of bacon. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had in my life! The bacon was irresistibly crave-worthy, too. Thank you, Snooze, for an outstanding experience!

Brought a group of friends from out of town (6 of us total). Service wasnt terrible but our server was very absent and had to be flagged down and she seemed not to care or want to be there. 2 people asked for no ice in their water and she said "I'll just do no ice for all 6" when that's not what we wanted. She brought the waters then took 4 peoples cocktail orders and then walked away. We watched our drinks sit at the bar for so long when she was nowhere to be found. Someone else had to bring the other 2 people their cocktails when she finally let them order, someone else also brought our second round of drinks to us instead of her. Please keep in mind it was not busy at all when we went- less than 8 tables of people in the whole place. Our other friends (group of 7) at another table arrived after us, got their food before we were even able to order ours. Our server incorrectly told us there was gluten in the items we wanted to order off of the gluten free menu. I was so excited to share this place with friends and we left very disappointed in the service we received. Our other group of friends received excellent service. Additionally, we had a question as we were leaving about the parking at the designated garage for this area and the hostess said shes new and didn't know but also wouldn't ask anyone standing around up front. There appears to be several people working here that just can't be bothered to do anything more than the absolute bare minimum, even on a slow day. In all of our previous visits service has been a bit lack luster but not this bad and the food has been good but not great enough to justify the poor service

Enjoyed a brunch break with my family of 6. I tried the Louisiana Quiche with a side of potatoes. The quiche was good as far as seasoning and flavor but the pastry part of the quiche was overcooked and therefore hard to eat with a fork. The hot chocolate was great! It’s my go-to hot drink. I give it and our service 5/5. Although it’s a 45-minute drive from Kannapolis, I’ll happily make it again; especially since I’m the passenger while my husband drives ;) The menu has so many options, I love trying different things! I don’t mind paying for good quality, feel-good food that’s prepped fresh. I’m always satisfied. If I find something that I don’t prefer, I just order something different next time. So many choices, including gluten-free and vegetarian.

What a cool spot! The sandwich was perfectly made, loved the flavor and crunch combination and I couldn't tell it was gluten free, best bun I've had in a while! The place is a bit loud but the design is amazing and so unique 😍

I called ahead and ordered a gluten free pizza because I have Celiac. When I received the pizza and after I ate a couple of bites I realized it wasn’t gluten free. I went back inside and asked to speak to a manager and explained to him the issue. He was very dismissive of the whole situation and just took the pizza and said he would bring a new one out. No apology or refund. I have been to this location and have had an issue before, but most of the time it’s good service and food just terrible management.

Girls weekend fun and everyone working was very accommodating for our rambunctious group! Happy to come back, no matter the size of party Everything I ate was wonderful, pretty sure everyone in the party was happy with their food as well Berry Sangria was yummy Zucchini Fritte was perfect especially the dipping sauce - even picky eaters tried this for the first time and liked it =) I tried the spinach artichoke dip, amazing! Tried it on my Zucchini Fritte ...wow, definitely suggest trying those two together Tried the calamari with marinara, don't forget to squeeze the lemon juice on the calamari....brings up the flavor a notch =) My entree was the Chicken Picatta with Gluten-free Penne pasta in place of the spaghetti it comes with. So much flavor, chicken was tender and could cut with my fork, pasta was cooked perfect- especially for Gluten-free pasta 👍🏼👏🏼 I tried a bite off my friend's Chicken Parmigiano- amazing! They also graciously give a military discount, which I always appreciate. We were also there after closing time and they weren't trying to push us out the door =)

I am so happy that they offer gluten free options and have a gluten freedom night! The gluten freedom night is what first brought me here and I enjoyed the pizza and beer on a great sunny day on their large outdoor area. Looking forward to the next one and seeing what else they’ve got!

I would not consider this an allergy-friendly restaurant. Quite frankly, if a kitchen and restaurant do not care about the health of their customers, what are they even doing cooking food for other people? I ordered the chicken avocado wrap with a gluten-free tortilla (which I paid extra for) and asked for no cheese. I also ordered a grilled cheese with fries and ketchup. I was a little taken aback when I realized my wrap wasn’t labeled gluten-free, but I tried to keep an open mind. Then I noticed it had cheese in it as well. I called the restaurant to confirm whether it was a gluten-free wrap. The person on the phone just tried to describe it to me, but honestly, there was no way to tell. I was left with food that I couldn’t be sure was safe for me to eat. The grilled cheese we ordered was burned, but I didn’t even bother bringing it up because it was already clear they had no process for handling issues with orders and didn’t consider it important enough to escalate to a manager. I did mention that they forgot the ketchup; however, the woman on the phone decided to blame the Grubhub driver for that. Explain to me how it’s the driver’s job to pick up ketchup, napkins, and silverware. They work for Grubhub—they’re a delivery driver. Why should they be doing the restaurant’s job? Plus, the bag was stapled shut when it arrived. Was he supposed to bring those items in his pockets? Disappointing and not like I remember it when it was the Dilworth location.

The service here was the absolute worst. We ordered chips and queso and it went to the wrong table and when we asked they said it was coming. We literally never got them in spite of asking another time. Then we got a taco with a flour tortilla in spite of telling them it was needed to be gluten free and specifying only corn tortillas. It was sent back and then 10 min later it came back with 2 flour tortillas. My poor daughter had no meal since they couldn’t get it right. I never got my tea drink as well. We’ve never had such slow and poor service. We asked for the manager and she never came over to see us. The waiter apologized and said the food items were taken off the bill to which we said that’s good since they either never came to the table or were inedible. Will never go here again!!!

River's Edge is a surprisingly good restaurant that's part of the US National Whitewater complex. If the weather isn't good enough for you, they have indoor seating. It feels like they have much more outdoor seating than indoors, as they should - the views are beautiful. There are many canvas coverings overhead to provide some shade, but in the evening when the sun is starting to set you can catch some sun right in your face or right on your back, which makes for a sweaty experience. It is wonderful to be able to eat a good meal while watching zipliners, enjoying the folks attacking the rapids right below you, or listening to a band performing right across the canal from where you sit and enjoy your food and drink. The atmosphere is top notch, even if your timing isn't ideal with the setting sun. The food is quite amazing for a location like this, as I would expect mostly overpriced fast-food-type choices when you don't have any other options except this or leaving the complex. Instead, you are presented with a diverse and healthy menu full of delicious options, including clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices. In our experiences there, the kitchen is very accommodating to any dietary or taste needs. My typical go-to is the Mediterranean Bowl. The falafel is always fried up well with that classic middle-eastern seasoning. Crunchy on the outside and well maintained on the inside. The veggies taste fresh. The rice is fine, but probably there's too much of it. The hummus is nice and traditionally prepared with good flavor and texture. The highlight of the dish is the whipped feta, which is a really unique take on delicious cheese and gives a fabulous tartness to the dish. I usually add the grilled chicken as well, for extra protein, and that is quite good. I once changed it up and ordered the smoked pulled chicken instead - that was just okay. It lacked any smokey flavor. I'll stick with the grilled chicken going forward. The service is generally just okay. There are a lot of tables outside, so the wait staff usually seems spread pretty thin. When a server is with you, they are very attentive to your questions and for taking your order. However there have been multiple times we've been waiting on refills of water or needed an order correction and it takes quite some time to get someone's attention. Overall, this place is great. Wonderful food with great views, River's Edge gives you an excuse not to leave USNWC too early after a fun day!

I have always had a good experience here, but my recent visit was exceptional! We typically have sushi but decided on hibachi. Being gluten free my food was cooked in the kitchen and made with GF soy sauce. Later upon learning I had a shellfish allergy the server made beeline for the kitchen to insure there was no cross contamination. Which was my fault I should have led with that. The server also warned me each item that contained wheat. Those being the ginger dressing (substituted for ranch) and the miso soup had a bit of soy sauce. Everyone in my party had a great time, but we were all so impressed by the car and attention to detail from the staff. Wish I had caught there names but fantastic experience overall. 10/10 would recommend!

This food was amazing. My husband said the quesabirrias were some of the best he’s had. I had the Beyond Burrito (not vegan style tho) and it was awesome. The restaurant was really nice but I’m not fond of it being so dimly lit you have to use your cell phone to see the menu. Items were clearly labeled gluten free and vegetarian which was nice because my husband has Celiac and I’m a vegetarian. And some vegetarian options could be made vegan upon request!

I’ve been here before for drinks, but hadn’t really eaten much besides picking up someone’s french fries or something. So I was delighted when my colleagues decided to host an intimate business dinner here. We sat out back in the open space underneath the magnificent tree. I absolutely love the decor, both inside and outside and I love the use of the spaces. It just feels very open and airy. It’s such a great place for gatherings and celebrations of any kind. I could also see it being quite romantic for a date night underneath the twinkly lights. Everyone in my group has a typical diet. I was the only one with dietary restrictions. I am plant-based (vegan) and gluten light. I’m grateful that they were thoughtful to put a couple of very user-friendly items on their menu, as well as a full on vegan mac & cheese. Our group ordered a good number of small plates to share that we really didn’t end up eating any entrées. We had two different shaken fry bags, the Togashi and the garlic herb Parmesan. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed the golden beets so much that we got two of those as well as two marinated shrimp cause they wanted to drink the butter. We also got a couple of variations of the good salad, one with shrimp and one without shrimp or cheese. A couple orders of wings. We had no complaints about anything!! The food was absolutely delicious and my colleagues who were visiting from out of town were so grateful to have spent their evening at such a delicious and delightful restaurant.

Ordered, I did, the Chilled Cauliflower Florets, Tikka Masala Paneer, and Buttered Naan. Mmm... strong with the flavor, each dish was. Crafted with the precision of a lightsaber strike, and cooked to a balance only a true culinary Force-wielder could achieve. Attentive and kind, the staff were—like Jedi, but with menus. Felt welcomed, I did. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan... options aplenty for all lifeforms across the galaxy. Ah, but the parking—yes, unexpected that was. Validated, it is! Parked at The Green Lot, I did. Saved ten credits, I did. A wise and generous feature. Saved to my favorites, I have. Return, I shall, the next time my travels bring me to this system.
