Stoke Charlotte

Went in the restaurant and told the hostess that I have Celiac Disease. I said I didn’t know if they could accommodate me. She assured me they would even if she had to fix it. My grilled chicken and farm to table salad were delicious!

Nice restaurant inside the downtown Marriott. For those who need to eat gluten-free, quite a few options and the server we had was very knowledgeable. Open air concept next to a rather large bar. Food is sourced directly from local farms. Foid portions and quality very good and extremely convenient if going to an event at the Spectrum Center. Our server ended up being monopolized by another patron -- lots of chatter about personal history -- to the point that there was an extreme drop off in service to our table - drinks went dry, dirty dishes not removed,a very long wait to get our check. We would go back, but hope the service is better.
