Café Violette

I’ve eaten at Café Violette more than ten times and always had a great experience until now. This visit was incredibly disappointing. I clearly told our server about my gluten allergy, but she didn’t write it down and later brought us a pasta dish. We didn’t realize the mistake right away. When we brought it up, the manager said some people think Italian pasta is safe. That’s not just wrong, it’s dangerous. The lack of awareness and accountability was shocking. We won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with dietary restrictions. The food used to be worth the price, but unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.
