Cafe 25 Blackpool

We came here on Saturday for dinner with my two year old daughter who had a very serious gluten and dairy allergy. We were shown the gluten free menu straight away and the waitress explained the food on the menu and what they can offer. After this I think it may of been the owner came out and asked about our daughters allergy and once again explained about the options, how they avoid any form of cross contamination to the best of their ability and how they use separate cooking equipment for gluten. We heard him tell the kitchen that they have a gluten free customer too. We was amazed at how many options were available we always struggle to find somewhere to eat with our daughter and she ends up with either a jacket potato or a gluten free tomato pasta. Once her food came out it was clearly labelled as gluten and dairy free with the use of stickers which was great to see as we’ve never had this before, her food looked and tasted lovely couldn’t actually tell the difference, she loved it and told them herself it was “yummy”. It was such a lovely positive experience for all of us when usually eating out fills me with anxiety and dread but I certainly felt at ease here. We can’t recommend you enough! And will certainly be coming back! Thank you for giving us the best eating out service we’ve had,for not making us feel like a problem and for the interaction you gave our little girl she loved her sausages (something we struggle finding her)

Really great options for gluten free. Felt really safe eating here. Loads of delicious cakes

Called in for lunch. Had a couple of toasties, which were lovely, including a gluten free one. Was then tempted by the many cakes that are on display and definitely the right choice. They do vegan and gluten free cakes as well as 'normal' ones and they were superb. If you're looking for a little, independent cafe with great food for breakfast or lunch, add this to your list.
