Called in a carry out order at nearly 5pm on a Friday for a roasted beet salad with a cheese substitution. Was ready in under 20 minutes, hostess greeted me quickly and asked if I needed utensils. Upon returning home I was anxiously ready to eat as I hadn’t been there in years. As much as I wanted to like the combination of beets and sweet potatoes, I just didn’t. It should maybe be called a Root Vegetable salad to give a more accurate description as there seemed to be more potatoes vs beets? I will return to try one of the other many gluten free and clean menu items.

My wife’s vegetarian and I’m trying a gluten free diet, so dining out is now a challenge. This was our first visit here but it won’t be the last. We had lunch and the serving sizes were such that we will not need dinner. We had superb and friendly service. Everything was delicious. For an appetizer we had what the menu described as a beverage – potassium broth – half of which was brought home it was so large an amount. I also had the Peace Bowl with noodles because it was gluten free. The mild coconut curry sauce in it made it really tasty. Again, it was so large I had to bring some home. My wife had a common vegetarian’s fall-back meal of Portabella Melt and declared it the best she’d ever had. Looking forward to going there again, even if I’m no longer on a gluten free diet.
