Cafe Provence

I have been here several times and each time the food, ambiance, and service is superb. Dinner last night was beautiful. We had Asiago Cup Salad, Caesar Salad, and side salad for appetizers and all were perfect. I wish we could buy the asiago cups!! Dinner rolls were served piping hot and wonderful. The entrees were divine! For the first time I tried one of their pizza's, (the Portobello) and the meatiness of the mushrooms were very well balanced by lemon zest--- a combination I have never seen before. My dad greatly enjoyed his steak, and the server Dawn perfectly recommended a gluten-free combination for my Mother that met her VERY strict standards (this is a woman that is nearly impossible to impress at restaurants). Can't wait to go back soon!

The food itself was great. One of the people in my party had a serious allergy to gluten and I don't feel like the staff was very knowledgable about cross contamination or gluten allergies in general. Nothing was marked on the menu about gluten or lactose free options for people with allergies. I wish the restaurant was a little more clear on "safe" options for people with food restrictions.
