CAFE VIDA Healthy Organic Restaurant Canggu

This place is sent me to the hospital! They say they are celiac safe with a separate cooking area - I got so sick I had to get wheelchairs to the hospital- and apparently I’m not the first place this restaurant has sent to the hospital for gluten cross contamination. Celiacs DO NOT EAT HERE! They say that they are aware of cross contamination and they are NOT SAFE.

Had dinner here a while ago. A place for the "Canggu hipster", with something for everyone. Nice combination of an Asian bun with fresh fruit and a Western breakfast. Tasty and well-kept, but on the pricey side. Ideal for those who like a trendy setting and even extensive gluten-free breakfast options.

Specifically went here for gluten free food but got contaminated. Food was good unfortunately contained gluten. I went to the place just yesterday, and double checked with all the reviews/ratings. Even after confirming with the wait staff and indicating the seriousness of the allergy they ensured the food was gluten free. I had “GF Beef Burger” and ended up having a severe reacting and had to be rushed to emergency room shortly after. Side Note: The small medical centres cannot treat allergy reaction, all of them denied and had to go to GarbaMed which was quite far from the location.
