Great separate gluten-free menu with pizza and pasta. Many other dishes are also available gluten-free. Gluten-free focaccia is available as an appetizer. Great and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Special gluten-free menu, lots of options, including dessert, gluten-free dishes are specially marked, great staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Step into this cozy haven of culinary magic and you’ll swear you’ve just wandered into an Italian grandmother’s kitchen—if Nonna was a gluten-free wizard with a heart of gold and a rolling pin blessed by the food gods.
From the moment you walk in, the aroma wraps around you like a warm hug—garlic, fresh herbs, slow-simmered tomatoes, and just a hint of wood-fired perfection. The ambiance is intimate and soulful, with mismatched vintage plates, lace curtains, and the kind of charm that can’t be manufactured—only inherited.
Now, the food. This place doesn’t just “do” gluten-free. It elevates it.
The pizza crust? Crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and kissed by fire in all the right places. You’d never guess it’s gluten-free.
The pasta? Silky ribbons of joy that hold onto sauce like they were made for each other in a past life. Whether you order the rich, velvety carbonara or the slow-braised Bolognese, every bite feels like a love letter to your taste buds.
And let’s talk service—attentive, warm, and knowledgeable. You’re not just a customer here; you’re family. They remember your name, your favorite dish, and even ask how your week has been. It’s like a little slice of Italy that just happens to be celiac-friendly and deeply soul-satisfying.
Final word? If you thought gluten-free Italian food couldn’t be authentic, heartwarming, and out-of-this-world delicious, this place will prove you delightfully wrong. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a revelation. Mangia bene, live better.

Great for celiacs or people with gluten intolerance. The big breakfast is truly large. I am someone who orders a lot of food and the portions here do not disappoint. Highly recommend
Coeliacs avoid at all costs!!!
I was made violently ill after eating here and being told that all the food I had was gluten free. I have had coeliac disease for almost 30 years and have the exact same reaction every time I eat gluten, and had this after eating at this cafe.
I have now seen at least 3 other coeliacs leave the exact same review and the owner reply saying that the food was indeed gluten free and perhaps the guest had another allergy and reacted because of that and to get checked by a doctor. That is not the case and is just plain gaslighting and denial on the café's behalf. Clearly the restaurant does either not understand what it means to be gluten free or their communication both verbally and on the menu is incorrect and misguided.
The staff were kind and the café was nice but it is unacceptable and dangerous to label something gluten free when it clearly is not. I hope the café looks into their gluten free food making process and improves on this in the future, but in the meantime, please avoid eating here if you have coeliac disease.
this is a pearl in this neighborhood. What a wonderful place to have breakfast. Very varied menu and very tasty dishes. Good option if you want a Gluten-free or Lactose-free breakfast. Friendly service and attractive location.
Amazing place, especially if you are gluten free. We came here for breakfast and I was able to have my first gluten free sourdough bread. It was the best bread I have had in 13 years of being allergic to gluten. The food was soooooo good, so healthy and super fresh that we came back for lunch on the same day 😁. The staff is very careful and welcoming. We had a really good time!
Atman Kafe, located on Jalan Hanoman in Ubud, is a real gem for lovers of healthy and tasty cuisine. This café is renowned for its warm atmosphere and varied menu, which highlights vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, while also offering dishes for meat lovers. From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted by a relaxed atmosphere and charming decor, blending traditional Balinese elements with a modern twist. The comfortable seating and well-appointed spaces make it an ideal place for a leisurely meal, a work session or simply to relax with a good coffee. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. The menu is a true culinary journey. Among the most popular dishes are gado-gado, avocado toast and fresh salads, perfect for a light lunch. Sweet lovers will not be left out with a selection of vegan and gluten-free desserts, such as fruit tarts and chocolate brownies. Beverages, ranging from fresh juices to smoothies to artisanal coffees, are also a strong point of the cafe. Special mention for their coffee, often described as one of the best in Ubud. Atman Kafe also stands out for its commitment to the environment. Metal straws replace plastic straws, and the cafe offers a water bottle refilling service to reduce plastic waste. These initiatives reflect a sustainable philosophy that resonates with the values of many visitors.
In terms of price, the Atman Kafe offers excellent value for money. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients, often local and organic, fully justifies the prices. Whether you are an Ubud local or a tourist passing through, this café is a must-visit place for a memorable dining experience. In summary, Atman Kafe is much more than just a café. It’s a place where food, ambiance and values come together to deliver a unique experience. If you are in Ubud, don't miss the opportunity to experience this culinary gem. You will leave with a smile and, most likely, the desire to come back.
Long waiting time, burger was not tasty, very small amount of meat in a double meat burger, gluten free option is extra paid but not tasty bread at all.
A fantastic restaurant! Could not recommend this enough. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. The ambience is great, and the food is incredible 😍 They bring complementary bread to start which is delicious. They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. The menu is big and varied, with so many fantastic options it’s hard to know what to choose. We had ricotta and spinach ravioli with pomodoro sauce, and fish. We tried the honey nut gelato and it was excellent. It was good value for money, we really enjoyed our meal here.
The service and the gluten free food was amazing they have many pasta options and every single pasta that is on the menu is offered gluten free too you can chose if what pasta form you want if you order gluten free, they also have a great gluten free lava cake which is absolutely delicious
Looking for a gluten free place in Ubud, we found this place on Google. We were not disappointed. The food, staff and atmosphere were amazing. If you are looking for a warm, simple place with good value for money. Go for it! A big thank you to Andy and Sari for their service which makes the difference. Big love!
I received a very friendly welcome and when I asked I was told that the gluten-free pizza was baked in a separate oven.
There was a lot of cheese and tomato sauce on it, deliciously seasoned with fresh basil. The size of the pizza was enough for a good lunch.
The base was probably purchased (similar to Schär), so I was reassured that it was actually gluten-free dough. I didn't have any problems afterwards and was able to explore Ubud with a good feeling.
I would eat here again and can recommend the restaurant for gluten-free pizzas.
Amazing GLUTEN FREE donuts! 🍩 Yum! Some of the softest donuts I’ve ever eaten! Amazing to get a little sweet treat whilst in Bali! Highly recommend! The coffee is also Devine! Can’t go wrong!
Visited because of gluten free options but have to say that the base wasn’t the best gluten free base I tasted.
Nevertheless the food overall was very delicious (but also salty).
Our favourites: garlic bread and tart chocolate.
Cute place nicely decorated
The service was really nice
There are relatively many gluten-free options 🌾
The dishes were delicious, especially the pancakes.
But the problem with the place is that the prices are very, very expensive, Asai Bull at 140 thousand, even compared to Tsango it is expensive...
Food was delicious, could not have been better! Everyone was so kind and our waiter, Jojo was so accommodating to my friends gluten allergy. 11/10 reccomend.

The gluten free pizza was really good. The prices are completely fair for the portions you get. I really liked the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely go there again!
I’ve been for breakfast and dinner. Had a wonderful experience with our waitress Citra 😊. We went for two for one pizza night which was great! I’m coeliac and was assured that my gluten free pizza was kept separate to other pizzas being made. It was great peace of mind.
Will definitely return for both breakfast and dinner. 😊
Went there to taste their burgers, very tasty and delicious, service was exceptional and the staff catered to my Wife’s gluten sensitivity.
We ordered two burgers, one normal one and one gluten free bun burger.
The burger was juicy, tasty and meat texture was perfect.
P.s check out their bathrooms.
Great view staff are friendly. A lot of gluten free options if you are gluten intolerant like myself. The gluten free chocolate cake is out of this world. No joke. It’s that good. Other food I tried here was great as well.
I’ve been to La Baracca branches around Bali and always recommend them to friends. Food is consistently great. I love that they can give you gluten free pizza and pasta - for a small additional price. Staff at this branch were friendly and attentive. Make a reservation in advance!
Biku is always a must-visit whenever in Bali. The atmosphere is warm and homey, with an authentic charm that makes every visit feel special. The food? Absolutely top-notch! A must try is nasi campur biku and one of the highlights is the variety of plant-based options—there are so many great choices, from creamy hummus and flavorful couscous to delicious gluten-free cakes. Love it 🩷
I was really excited to go to this cafe as it has been highly recommended but after showing one of the servers my gluten free celiac dining card in Indonesian they said that they don't have separate pans and prepare it all on a flat top grill so it isn't safe for people with celiac disease. I was so sad.
the place is really very pretty and pleasant to cut away a little from the hubbub of the city
the prices are a little higher than elsewhere but the quality of the food is worth it
the butter chicken was incredibly creamy and full of flavor
the juices are very good too
you can change to gluten-free options without problem
I liked the cookie a little less but it’s a question of taste :)
Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a detox drink, smoothie bowl, gluten free snickers cake, and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.
The staff are always fantastic and friendly here. The food is delicious and the coffee is exceptional.
Great location and good range of gluten free options.
We've come here almost every day for our whole holiday and the staff greet us happily each time.
Highly recommend. 5* :-D
We stayed in a nearby villa and ordered from Bella Pizza multiple times during our stay. The food was fantastic, every time. They had gluten free options and a good range of toppings. Easy to order on GoJek/Grab for speedy delivery too. Well packaged for transport, with no issues rain or shine.
Substainable healthy grocery with endless vegan and gluten free options. Nice selection of local products for health and beauty as well as bakery and full menu. Perfect stop to stock up on snacks and tea for my time in Bali.
Amazing place to have lunch in Bali!!! I informed staff that I have to eat gluten free and they were really considerate of my dietary requirements. Food was delicious!
I am celiac and they do not have gluten-free bread, which I can understand, but what is incomprehensible is that you bring your bread so that they can make you toast and in addition to saving them bread, they charge you extra for saying that you are bringing food from outside. If they had gluten-free bread I wouldn't have to bring anything... a shame but the management of this place would have to use their heads when putting policies like these...
Gluten free bun had similar composition to a rock. There's so many good gluten free options in Bali, not sure why they use that gross bun. Waste of money. Would definitely be better off ordering no bun. It really was, well, wacko.
The burger patty itself was okay, but nothing special.
